STOP TALKING BULLSHIT. On facebook,user needs to click the image,in order to start the gif animation. Same for video. So, gif ads on facebook WILL NOT RUN AUTOMATICALLY. :)
 
the truth is that the secret about this is not GIF, but that it will be considered a video... the video will be very short, practically everyone will watch 100% and the engagement will be well evaluated by facebook, which even recommends that you use videos under 15 seconds

probably GIFs or any 3 to 8 second video would be optimized in the same way

The lead quality in FB is very low these days, do you have any recommendation for that?
