However none of the expired tumblrs I find are available for re-registration. Has Tumblr closed the re-registration of expired profiles or they are being mass harvested for re-registration these days? Are there any online services that mass check their availability?

I have 30 expired Tumblr blogs 30-50 PA, I'm about to start my PBN. My only question would be, if I use a different IP address and email for each blog, can I use them to backlink for my personal sites + affiliate links and my future Fiverr clients backlinks?

Your skills have to improve.
Understand that not all 404 tumblrs are deleted by their owners.
Most are banned blogs by tumblr. Those are never made available.
You can.
However, if you don't intend to rank them as parasites, there is no use for posting affiliate links.

But blogspot, weebly and over-blog are more difficult to get
I found plenty available subdomains. but none of them could be registered.
meanwhile, wordpress is not able to register expired domain according to this thread: en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/is-it-possible-to-register-an-expired-wordpesscom-subdomain/

In fact, I have got a scrapebox and some private proxies. Besides the platforms mentioned above, I want to try more web2.0 to see if i could build a diverse web2.0 pbn with average pa >= 30
So I'll be grateful if you could give me some suggestion in getting blogspot, weebly and overblog domains.
I used the same keywords as for tumblr, but replacing the site:xxx to target platform.
And I also try some more: jigsy.com and skyrock.com
skyrock.com is as easy as tumblr while jigsy.com without any luck.

Start with bigger lists.
Scrape using date intervals if your proxies can handle, to get older web2.0's.
Keep the 404 blogspots, as some of those will get available in time. Blogpost has a 90 days period before they release the deleted blogs.
Adjust to each platform. Check their rules, see when they make the usernames available, etc.

I got better place by changing the theme. There is a theme that has a place to put site description. I use that to place the link.
Can anyone suggest a good way to attach RSS to over-blog dot com?
I dont see it in IFTTT. Or maybe other type of auto-blogging?

Both places will result in a do-follow link.
Plus the link from the article is contextual.
There is no thing like ifttt for over-blog as far as I know.
But you can schedule your post on over-blog similar to tumblr.
So you can make a bunch of posts and schedule them.

So how do i schedule on over-blog? I used ifttt to rss to tumblr. Anything to automate over-blog is ok
