Steps:
1. Create a new tumblr account.
2. Attach your custom domain to that tumblr account.
3. Now search for your niche relevant posts on tumblr. Like and repost them. The new MOZ updates the metrics everyday and so you'll see the changes in a day or two.

To automate step #3, you can use method by @ThisIsMyLife

You can get DA/PA 35+ in few days. To get high boost in DA/PA, search for high PA tumblr posts through MOZ link explorer's Inbound links for your niche relevant tumblr blog.

Can you clarify this? Do you mean, linking the domain from profile (right has side)
In your tumblr's setting, there is an option to add a custom domain. Just click on the pencil in front of the username. Then add your domain there.... example.com

Now go to your domain registrar, point your A record to 66.6.44.4

I have an expired tumblr with PA and DA +60.
How to make the most of it?

On most of my expired tumblr domains, I add a do follow link to the home page under description. Then automate auto content posting using IFTTT by using RSS content of niche relevant blog.

Steps:
1. Go to edit appearance in tumblr.
2. Now click on Edit theme
3. In the description section, add HTML like this...
This is Blackhatworld.

This is a do--follow link with your keyword.

1. Go to google and search for your niche relevant RSS feed.
2. Now signup for IFTTT.
3. Go to applets, click on new applet.
4. Click on "THIS". And select RSS for this.
5. Enter the earlier found RSS feed address from Step 1.
6. Now click next and select text post. Now click next.
7. Click on "THAT". And select Tumblr. Now link with your tumblr blog. See the recipe if everything looks fine, click on finish.

This way every time that RSS produces a new blog, it will automatically be posted on your Tumblr.
Add more of such applets and your tumblr will have niche relevant content.

Does it matter it's duplicate content?

Happy to help :)

1. Go to Google, search site:tumblr.com "your-niche"
From the results, choose some tumblr blog with high DA/PA (you can check bulk DA/PA through various free tools available).
2. Go to MOZ, create a free account and verify email.
3. Now login to your MOZ account, go to Free SEO Tools, then click on Link Explorer.
4. Enter the tumblr blog address (which you found in 1.. example.tumblr.com) and click on search.
5. Now click on Inbound Links and select Link Type as NO-FOLLOW.
6. Now open the links with HIGH DA/PA in new tab and start liking/reposting them. Do not like/repost links that have high spam score.
7. Now using the blog address from step 6, repeat step 4-6.

You will get links from example.tumblr.com, example.com, example.co.vu that are hosted on tumblr.

Ok, I'll follow your method.
I just bought a domain name last monday and I want to monetize this new website the sooner possible.
So I think that this might help.

I looked at the previous tumblr i had and the do follow link seem to be remove or something so i try to add it again and it was not working

Does DA and PA still matter?

Anyone had any lucky pushing their tier 1s (Real editorial sites) with decent web 2.0s and get a good boost?

Gratitude buddy.

Were you able to rank any article with the boosted domain name? If yes, what difficulty?

Steps:
1. Go to edit appearance in tumblr.
2. Now click on Edit theme...

After some time you will create Content for your real Website and you will delete the redirect for your tumblr blog.
Does google ban you for this or you do have any other disadvantage if you do it like this?
