[Method] Amazon to eBay Drop-shipping Done Right! Spoon Fed! *Long/Detailed*

Heya Lewy2k

Nice share dude, thanks for taking the time to give everyone a detailed step by step breakdown of how to implement the system.

Quick one though, how do u think this would work with lets say... other sites instead of Amazon...I mean sites like Geekbuying or simular sites... that way u only place the order when u get paid from buyer on Ebay. When funds are in ur Paypal then u place order with Geekbuying or similar sites and ship direct to end user.

What do you think? is it worth trying that sorta model?....

would love to chat more about ur CPA + Advertising model, if you keen PM my ur Skype ID. I also do alot of CPA marketing.

Just note guys... It doesn't matter if your ebay policy states 14 days or 30 days return policy. I recently got a buyer who opened a paypal dispute not as described case after 3 months of purchase. She won the case, and I'm stuck with an item which I can't return back to my seller. Even if you win the case on ebay, buyer who uses paypal can open a paypal dispute and get their money back up to 6 months or 180 days.. I hope this post won't encourage scammers to do such things.. Best of luck..

And what were the grounds of the dispute? Was the item faulty? The 14 or 30 day policies are generally for people who change their mind.

Why can't you just raise the same issue with Amazon, where you bought the product from?

Interesting post though, i'm curious to hear more about this. PM me if you like.

A friend and I are easing into this method. I have a question for all of the BIG GUYS doing this, the guys making $100+/day. How many listings do you have up simultaneously?
$100/day seems doable if you're running several hundred listings, averaging 10-15 sales/day.

Any insight please let me know I am very curious, thanks!

I'm not yet making $100/day yet but I know the answer. You want to me aiming to list thousands of items because the rule of thumb is that you sell 1% to 5% of your stock each day.

So being conservative let's run with 1%. 1% of 1000 items is 10. 10 items a day at a profit of $3 per sale is $30. Over a month that is $900.

Do you get the picture?

I knew it was a numbers game, 1% seems like a good point to start. I'd rather set my expectations low and be surprised than set them high and be disappointed.

Thanks for replying so quick, if I also may ask what is your experience with the ebay selling limits? I have 3 eBay accounts all over 2 years aged (not many transactions)
1 account is limited to 25 a month and the other two are limited to 100/month. Once I hit 100 and bump up what is the next increment? I've seen wishy washy posts on
other forums that suggest 250 is the next stop?

I don't have any experience with limits really. My primary selling account is over 10 years old. I didn't ever sell with it before last November but when I did start I had no limits and still don't. It's quite rare these days I think and do expect limits to be set at some point - but I expect them to be so high that it won't affect my business, that is as long as I don't do anything bad or upset customers. I say this because it makes no sense for them to restrict my business if I am doing well and making them money.

That said, I do know a guy on here who has had success getting his limits raised every month of successful selling. I think they double the limits each month. In any case you start a chat session with an eBay rep and ask them, they have a team dedicated for this.

True enough, what's good for us is good for them.

Thanks for the detailed response. Sounds like your account progressed very nicely in just a few months. My biggest fear and the reason I am asking is because
I do not want to get stuck at a limit right in the middle of the month and have to stop the whole operation and lose potential earning $.

Hopefully my account progresses similar to yours man. All the best!

With my limits running out so quickly in the month it must of triggered something to increase my limits. Just be patient dude thats my biggest downfall i want to be listing thousands right now haha.

Well I think there is a certain element of patience to be considered also. All businesses take time to grow. Growth is most always restricted by some external factor beyond you can't control. In the instance of this method it is eBay selling limitations.

Just keep working at it and stay legit. You will get there!

Good luck.

So I'm having a tough decision to make.
I have an aged unlimited eBay account. My goal was to play the numbers game and list thousands of items. I was actually aiming for 10,000 items.

But, here's the problem. I use Price Yak as my lister, its expensive at .20 per listing. For that many listings it work out to $2,000 per month!

And I haven't even added the cost for listing on eBay yet. That's going to cost me another $1,000 per month with them. I currently have a premier store subscription and the cost per listing is .10

So it's going to cost me a whopping $3,000 a month JUST to have my listings up. To those that are considering playing the numbers game, you might want to think twice before listing that many items. Unless you have the cash to afford that every month.

For me, I'm bummed out by it. I feel like it's such a waste to have an unlimited account and not even be able to use it to it's full potential. Now I know why some call it FeeBay...

Well there is another avenue. I developed my own repricing software so i'm not paying anybody like PriceYak.

Why don't you try and hire somebody to create a repricer application for you?

Thanks password for the suggestion.

But wouldn't a project like that be rather pricey? I'm totally oblivious to where to look for a programmer to do something like that. Where did you look?

If I could cut the cost of Price Yak out, I'd be saving alot of money. Not to mention headaches.

Thanks

Well I am a software engineer so I did it myself. You can check out sites like elance, guru, or look at the hire a freelancer section on here.

That definitely solves one problem if you have the money to hire coder to do something extensive like, most of us starting don't have that kind of capital to tap. Unfortunately it doesn't solve the other problem of eBay charging a thousand bucks just for the permission to list thousands of items. 3 thousand a month is ALOT of money going out, that's a good portion of your profits. You'd have to be making atleast 6 k to be profitable with 10k listings.
