[Method] Amazon to eBay Drop-shipping Done Right! Spoon Fed! *Long/Detailed*

You can see more information here: h**p://pages.ebay.com/help/pay/payment_unavailable.html
I created a new account on eBay to this purpose so I have this limits.
Just asking because you know better than me how the thing works :)

This wasn't part of eBay ToS when I started

New seller status ends once you've met all the following criteria:

  • It's been more than 90 days since your first successful sale.

  • You've completed more than 25 domestic sales transactions.

  • You have more than $250.00 in total sales.

If I had to restart right now, I would start by selling 25 transactions. One way to do this without money is to sell eBook's for $0.99 until you get the 25 transactions. That way you don't have to pay for anything and when you aren't considered a "New seller" is when you start listing Amazon items. That way, your funds aren't held for 21 days.

as afar as items you are targeting to buy from amazon and sell on eBay, do you keep the items accounted for on a spreadsheet?

are the items you are selling are deeply discounted on amazon?

They are not discounted that much. Just enough to make $7 or more profit after fees. I do not use spreadsheets. It's all in my head :)

Drop shipping is a great money maker. It's a bread winner for sure. :clap2:

How long do you usually set you fixed price listing for? 30 Days?

Yes, exactly. If an item makes it through two 30 day selling cycles without selling, I don't relist the item. None of the ways I run my business is a secret code, much of it is just based on how I feel with the situation. If I feel an item won't sell, I don't relist it. If I think an item will sell, I list it. It's all subjective. I use a basic set of rules and the rest of the time I base my decisions on how I feel and the over two years of experience I've gained along the way.

Lewy2k, thank you for answering my previous questions.
I have 3 more questions that I hope you can answer.

1. When you buy something on Amazon and it is shipped, do you have some kind of tracking for that package?
The reason why I'm asking is that I heard a lot of times from people selling on Ebay about problems when they send
their package, customer probably recieved it but they deny it, saying that they didn't get the package and ask for refund.
So I was wondering if Amazon provide some tracking and what would you do in case someone told you that they didn't get the package?

2. I never did any selling on Ebay so I'm not sure if this is the right question. But when you put some product on listing, do you need to choose
the quantity for sold? If yes, do you put it at 1 and when you sold it, relist it again? Or you put like for example, quantity=10 so 10 people can buy that product?

3. When someone order from you on Ebay, do you send them some personal msg like "Thank you for shopping" and later "Your order is shipped" when you see that on Amazon?
Are there some other stuff that you recommend doing with your customers to make them happy and to feel more professional?

Thank you!

Man this is one of the best threads n here. I tried this a while back for 2 weeks and made some money, however didnt have capital becase ebay has a 21day holding period. Now I have capital from my cpa marketing, I'm getting back into this.

1. Yes, Amazon provides tracking. In two years I've never had a customer say they never got an item when the tracking showed they did. If for some reason it did happen, I would tell Amazon that the package was never received and they would give a refund.

2. That is exactly how it works. I have a select few items that I have at 100+ items quantity because they sell so much and they are always in stock. For other items I list one at a time so that when it sells, I can check if the price is still correct on Amazon or make sure that it's in stock before re-listing. This way I don't get burned by 10 items selling and then having to refund all those people. Keep in mind, when you list quantities of items, it counts against your selling limits as if you were listing them separately. Most of you who try this will have to wait a bit before you can do that.

3. No, I do not send any special messages, but I'm sure you can. Sometimes buyers do this and I have also heard of people sending an auto email to buyers when they purchase something to thank them. I will look around and see if it could help me in any way :)

Lewy, one more question for you..
Do you use some kind of listing template for your listings or some kind of template of your ebay store? If yes, did you buy some template or using some free one? And do you suggest to use some template so your listings look more professional?

Interested in how to apply this in the netherlands. There would be no shops available that i know of.

That is too low of a protfit margin. I sell so I make at least $7 AFTER all fees.

I use one I had developed over time. Start by including as much item information as possible from Amazon and then add your personal terms and services at the bottom.

Interesting, will read again when I'm not so busy.

Problem is though, Amazon Prime banning and wonder what they'd do once they realise all you're doing is changing email addresses? Seems to be the biggest problem really.

You should read again then. I have been doing this for two and a half years with no issues with Amazon. I email them on a regular basis.
