There is a lot of interesting info on what happened in Spain.

ICE seized a domain and site. A year later a Spanish judge found that they had committed no crime by linking to material on other sites. The US refused to return the domain and failed to comply with their own rules or due process. New political party gets elected, enacts backdoor legislation to overrule the courts decision. I expect more of this since the FED is contributing huge amounts of money into bailing out Europe's banks, even the French couldn't say no (which they wouldn't considering their PM is very much involved in the media industry)

I know perfectly well what I am saying.
I live in the US. People here abide by those rules.

If 50% of the internet is delivering pirated content.... then half of the internet is going to get fuked.

And not.. they cannot apply this to MY sites... all my content is licensed.
All my images .... i have a license to use them.
I am not worried.

I want a free world.... but that does not mean I want my neighbor to come into my house and sell my stuff or give it away because he thinks things should be shared.

I want a free internet.... but not an internet running rampant with thieves...
thieves sharing pirated content in the name of "free internet" but at the same time them making money out of sharing... be it subscription or locked content.

I have no problem with sharing information freely---- as long as the information is yours.
Sharing other peoples hard work while you cash in---- that I am against.

Cartel is mafia.

Mafia is of italian decent.
Drug Cartels are mostly Latin... mostly mexican---- and way way more ruthless and vicious.

There is a guy ---- nicknamed "La Barbie" --- head of one of the most ruthless and most powerful cartels...
He use to live 10 blocks from my house in Laredo....
nice guy actually.... hahahahaha

I come from Laredo -- home of the cartels.

Everyone from Laredo has taken money from the cartels at one time or another. Anybody that tells you different is lying.

Because it's either you take the money or you take a bullet.

Are you saying that the fed (which is private) is merciful supporting europes banks, which bought years before american cds (credit default swaps) and other financial market bullshit from american traders, what was the whole reason for the crisis since 2008? And now they surely have to be thankful to the fed, and accept any political wishes from the us gov?

I actually believe that megaupload was trying to go legit.
I believe they were sure that SOPA would pass sooner or later.
(only an idiot will believe it is not going to pass.... they will modify it and strap it to some other bill.... and it will pass)
Then their business was over
They were probably trying to create a platform to compete with itunes.
Have artist put their work on that platform.
That megabox or whatever they called it.

but they were a day late and a dollar short.

when people speak of cartels.... they are referring to the drug cartels.
That is common knowledge.

We do not need to get technical about the word cartel.

People with normal intellect would know from my post that I was referring to the drug cartels.

Rapidshare is next. There are a bunch of sites like these. Right now, i would not like to be an owner of any of these sites.

Where I come from, when people refer to cartels, they refer to the [url="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OPEC]oil cartel[/url]. I love the drug cartels. Hate the oil cartel though.
