If you cant be bothered to read a post, you shouldn't bother to reply. I also never condoned piracy, I said the system behind copyright is broken, and could be worked in a way that increases the pay for artists - whats wrong with that assertion.

I did not want to write anything anymore in this topic, but here i will answer you just in a unrelevant way like you are doing the whole time.
The US currently has 3 aircraft carriers stationed right at the Iran's coast. What do you think would happen if Russia would do the same and there would be 3 russian aircraft carriers paddling some kilometers away from NY?
I want to start behaving like the US, and stop the average Mumbo Jumbo living in some nigerian country giving away my overpriced western country garbage products for free, to people who would never even think a second about buying it.

Most artists are terrible as fuck when it comes to marketing,that's why they have to use the current model. There are a few that actually try something different. Like the comedian who sold a download of one of his shows for $5. He was able to get 200,000 sales of it and $1 million,after donating 1/4 to charity and paying 1/2 on expenses he kept $250,000 of it.

Is it not true that VAST MAJORITY of their content is copyrighted?? That's why so many uploaders used it because it was rarely taken down.
If MegaUpload was following the law, why hide and host it in switzerland or whatever
If I remember well, House MD (by FOX) suffered from budget cuts and Season 7 is the last season. The show is over from lack of funding.
The StarGate franchise (by MGM) suffered from the exact same thing. Before 2005 StarGate SG-1 was doing pretty well - TV channels were buying. But when the WWW started hosting all these shows - SGA did poor, and SGU did shit.
From this perspective things are true, but they're enforcing it on the Internet (on us) because it's handy for them. Bill Gates in turn chose to go for companies and develop software on top of their money. Office and Windows products are the #1 all-time download on TPB and I don't see any Microsoft officials pushing the FBI.
