Hey guys, I'm running clickbank offers on facebook ads and I'm getting insanely high drop off on my landing page, let's say 10 people visit my landing page and only 2-3 will get to the affiliate page. Before you say it's a bad landing page, I tested many different ones, similar style to my competitors. I have pixel linked so I don't think it's bot traffic. I'm running image ads, AI generated mostly (tried normal images too, no difference in dropoff, just worse performance). EPC is also low so I'm thinking could it be low intent creative? I'm confused because it's clearly working for other affs so I'm not sure what's causing this. Any advice appreciated.

A high bounce rate can be caused by a mismatch between the ad and the landing page , slow loading speed , or poor copywriting . Try checking your page speed, optimizing your CTA for clarity, and making sure your ad is attracting the right audience. If your EPC is low, your creative may not be compelling enough or your targeting may be off-putting.

Your high drop-off rate is likely due to low-intent traffic rather than a bad landing page. AI-generated images and curiosity-driven creatives may attract unqualified clicks, so test direct-response creatives that pre-qualify users.

Ensure your ad copy aligns with the landing page to prevent mismatched expectations. Broad targeting may also bring low-quality traffic, so try lookalike audiences based on actual conversions. Lastly, check your landing page speed and mobile UX, as slow load times can cause users to leave quickly.

Your drop-off issue is likely due to low-intent traffic. Test direct-response creatives, align ad copy with the landing page, use lookalike audiences for better targeting, and optimize page speed for a smoother user experience.

Rather than a poor landing page, your high drop-off rate is probably the result of low-intent visitors. Test direct-response creatives that pre-qualify users because curiosity-driven and AI-generated graphics may draw unqualified clicks.

Make sure the landing page and your ad wording match to avoid misunderstandings. Try lookalike audiences based on real conversions because broad targeting can often result in low-quality traffic. Last but not least, make sure your landing page loads quickly and that your mobile user experience is good.

Your content is not attractive enough for people to click to see, Sometimes people click by mistake

Make sure your landing page delivers what the ads promise

Check if your ad messaging aligns with the landing page to avoid misleading clicks. Test a pre-sell page or retargeting to warm up traffic. Use heatmaps (Hotjar) to see where users drop off and optimize accordingly.

If your bounce rate is high despite testing multiple landing pages, the issue may be traffic quality or ad relevance. Check if your ad copy matches user expectations, re-optimize your conversion process, and try different audience segments to improve performance.

Could be low-intent creatives attracting the wrong audience -> test clearer messaging to filter buyers.
Try a presell page to warm up traffic before the offer.
Check landing page speed, form, and UX to avoid losing visitors due to technical issues.
If drop-off remains high, run retargeting ads to bring back lost traffic

Are the advertising content and the web content consistent? Or is the advertising completely different from the web, causing confusion?

Make sure your ad copy matches your landing page to avoid mismatched expectations. Broad targeting can also bring in low-quality traffic, so try similar audiences based on actual conversions. Finally, test your landing page speed and mobile UX, as slow load times can cause users to bounce quickly.

Since you’ve changed your creative many times and you’re confident your landing page is good, try changing your targeting and interests. Maybe your competitors are reaching a better audience, which is why they’re making money and you’re not.

High bounce rate may be due to poor connection between your landing page and your site. Check your content, virtual components as well as your nick page to ensure the connection and attractiveness to viewers.

Make sure your page has compelling content to entice people to visit. Make sure your ads are promising.

Try to test more direct-response style creatives with problem/solution framing. Ensure your ad messaging matches the landing page expectations.

Hey! It sounds like you might need to tweak your targeting and ad creatives. Make sure your ads clearly match the landing page content to set the right expectations. Consider using more relatable images or even a short video for better engagement. Also, check your landing page load speed—slow pages can cause drop-offs. Keep testing different elements until you find what works! Good luck!

Slow loading or mobile-unfriendly landing page ,If your landing page takes longer than 3 seconds to load, many people will likely leave before the content is displayed.
