Massive Direct Scrapebox Blast on Brand New Website

Interesting stuff. Have made the mistake before about not keeping up the link velocity and have been punished before. This has inspired me to start Blasting again.. Thanks.

Yea i think one of the main things with link building is link velocity, i to blasted a new site and never had any problems, i never tried to get the site indexed by big g or nothing just blasted it for a month and then it popped up on page 1 for my main keyword, altho there wasnt that much comp for it.

Link velocity is huge. The key with SB link building is to be consistent and to spread your links across as many URLs and domains as possible. This gives Google the impression something is going 'viral'. It is also important to no just slam on the breaks when you stop blasting, but to taper down.

For everyone, I have finally launched the SB Lists site I promised I would put up. Check out my signature for the link.

Questions and comments always welcome!

I use Market Sam to check whether the BL count is steadily rising or remaining static. If it's remaining static, that's my signal to do another blast and by that time, my Master AA List has increased, therefore the blast I do is simply the difference.

What I mean by that is I'll load my Master AA list into Scrapebox and then do an Import & Compare with the AA List I have in the folder for that website/article... the difference, I blast.

So whilst it's not an exact drip feed of links, like 10,000 per day, I know when I need to do another 'blast' due to the back link number. If the BL is still increasing daily (as my links blasted are gradually being found), then I leave it until the next day.

BFellow, I've just checked your website out and whilst it looks professional and this is only my thoughts, I feel $50 for 50,000 is a bit excessive. So too is selling it to a max of 50 (that's a minimum of 50 outbound links which is a lot), but I guess you'll find out sure enough via the demand from people on here.

For those who are building lists up or simply don't have the money to invest in AA lists, there's another option of swapping AA lists with myself. I currently now have over 250k but as I'm doing a huge blast, I expect this could go over the 500k mark by next week. Be sure though that you have lists where the link has actually been found and they arent lists you've just picked up for free around the net - more than likely, they will have been hammered and be useless.
The thread is here:
http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...85-scrapebox-115k-auto-approve-list-swap.html

Like I say, this is for people who don't have the finances to get BFellow's lists and are looking for a cheaper option.

Hey muchacho,

I spent a lot of time looking to see what others were charging, visiting dozens of websites. For the amount of time and money put in, on top of what the market currently supports, my list is if anything priced a little low.

Remember, you are going to get what you pay for. Nobody shares premium lists, just lists that have been trashed or are unusable do to bad URLs. So when you are just starting out shared lists are ok, but when someone is ready to get serious, paid lists are the way to go if you don't have the resources or time to generate your own lists.

I am going to give out a coupon code, which is BHW, that will take 20% off. This should help you some of you where the current price is just out of reach.

Questions and comments are always welcome!

Just wanted to say that there's a "typo" in your site's title tag.

P.s. Keep up the good work! ;)

This is a really interesting thread, I am sat here with SB open right now building my lists up, I have been really mixing up my link building over many months using a wide range of services and compliment it with manual techniques and solid on site SEO, I do very very small SB blasts to my money site once a week (last night I did 450 comments) -this has seen a slow but natural rise to position 25ish for one of the most competitive terms you can think of (you would laugh at me for even trying it, but I am getting there! it has taken me nearly 6 months but I am not far off the first page).

It is tempting to blast more, but the site is an ecom site so I am in it for the long haul. I will keep reading this thread with interest.

Like I say, it's all down to the demand.

If the demand dictates that at your prices, the lists sell, then fair enough. I'm just saying my initial reaction that's all.

I personally think that people who are getting serious, should be going down the route of making their own, but again, that's the way I prefer to do things.

I'm starting my own from scratch so I'll keep you posted. These won't just be any AA blog, but they'll have a OBL limit, PR limit etc, so I'm going to judge time vs quality when I've done 1 'lap' of start to finish.

Hi bfellow,
I very interesting this thread, where to get this ?
plz pm ,thanks

Hey everyone,

I wanted to provide an update on the current experiment and then dig into the next one I am setting up.

UPDATE

Overall there is not to much to report on. The site continues to hold its ranking in the SERPs really well. YSE has seen a slight decrease in back links, but at a rate that is to be expected. Traffic and revenue both have held.

At this point I'm ok with calling the experiment an extreme success. Since I have a site that is holding so well, I am debating on whether to add content and more links to improve revenue or to leave it as is and let the site sit for say 6 months and really look at long term survival with no additional work. Would love to hear what you guys think.

As for the next experiment I am planning on launching a website on a medium difficulty root keyword but being much more aggressive with the site in a number of ways.

1) Much more content. On my first experiment I only added content a few times. Overall the site is pretty small with just 31 pages indexed. I think to blow a site up and start to compete on more difficult root keywords, the site needs several hundred articles at a minimum and new content consistently added. I may add as many as 50 articles a week, so it will need to be a fairly broad topic.

2) Let the dogs loose with back linking. I believe that you can add links as fast as you want as long as you can maintain velocity. At a low number of links, maintaining velocity doesn't matter, but as the total number of links increases, there needs to be greater consistency in velocity. 100,000 links blasted on one day, then nothing is asking for a ticket to the sand box. On the other hand, 10,000 links a week for 10 weeks generates quality rankings that tend to hold. This is the base concept behind link velocity.

3) Be more aggressive with revenue. This is kind of an add-on because it will have no real bearing to the experiment in terms of rank, but at the end of the day, we are all here to make money. Which would you rather have, a site with 100 hits a day generating $100 a day or a site with 100,000 hits a day generating $0? As P. Diddy, or Puff Daddy, or Sean Combs, or what ever the fuck he is calling himself this week once said, "It's all about the Benjamin's."

4) I also am going to formalize tracking numbers. This will include back links in both YSE and GWT, pages indexed in both, revenue, UV's, etc. If you have a statistic you would like to see tracked, let me know.

I plan on launching the open experiment in about two weeks. I'll also post soon the final decision on the last experiment and where it will go. If I do keep it open to monitor in the long term, I'll only report on it when things change, say a sudden surge or drop in traffic.

Thanks to everyone who has visit the new site as well and purchased a list. I've received a lot of great feedback. I will keep the coupon code, BHW, open for the next week or so. If you haven't visited yet, see the link in my signature.

Questions and comments always welcome! Thanks everyone.

This was really helpful information for me, thank you!

I was wondering what the possible negative effects of blasting my 60 day old domains was going to be, and this answered my question.

Still no ill effects?

My first and it had to be in here , great post!! I learned a lot from you and all the coments made here ;)

Hey, i got some questions:

1. How do you target that amount of keywords? I usually focus on 2-3 main keywords. You see the incoming search phrases in webmaster tools and use them as anchortext in your next scrapeboxblasts? Or do you target that amount of keywords from the beginning?

2. What's the position of your main keyword now? It was only 2900 exact matches/month, right?

thx

1. Pretty much. If GWT is telling you keywords it already associates with your site, it's a pretty safe bet that if you start to build new links around those keywords as your anchor text that you will fly up the ranks. Then as you add new content and new keywords are discovered by GWT, just keep rinsing and repeating. Easiest way to pile up page one rankings.

2. I am sitting at position 8 right now. Pretty much own that spot now. Especially since I have not built any new links for quite awhile now, I am extremely impressed at how well the positions and traffic are holding. I never thought I would have this much success with this experiment in terms of holding links and position in Google.

I've been a BlackHatWorld watcher for quite sometime until I decided I really wanted to take it seriously (Beside the point)

I have an old domain that I have decided I am going to "blast the sh*t" out of and see what happens but does anybody have advice on "safe" use of backlinks and commenting for a new domain that I don't want to risk losing? (I am aware there is always risk and understand that)

If you have a website which is somewhat matured you are already reducing the risk. There are a number of considerations to take into account in the current search climate the first being link graphs...

Google will have on record the link graph for your website. It uses this a sort of benchmark, if you have previously not accumilated many links you will want to change your graph slowly by adding a smaller number of links in the first week. Once many of these have been found (crawled/indexed - another story altogether) your websites link graph will begin to alter and therefore will be in a position to accept many more links in G's eyes without fear of penalty. As you start to build more links your graph shows a measured upward trend and you can then begin to pummel serious amounts of links because it appears natural (you are popular).

The second aspect is your content graph and how often your content is updated. The content graph is very much the same as your linking one in that G knows how frequently you update content. How would it seem to you to throw thousands of links at a website which has not been updated in months? unnatural? quite.

So, combine these two measures when considering building serious amounts of links to your website. Update the content a couple of times before building any links if your webiste has been left to its own devices for a while. Show G that there is activity going on (i.e. they index the new content) and slowly begin to build some good quality links over the next couple of weeks. Then it is time to turn up the power (improving your link graph - upwards) whilst at the same time adding regular content (content graph also trending upwards).

Following this ensures that your new found popularity is natural in appearance and you will find that rankings will begin to improve.

One final thing - remember to link to your new content (inner pages) as well as the home page. Make use of the great advice here around GWT and keywords as anchor text and before long G will accept the tsunami of links incoming to your ever so popular website!

Just wanted to reinforce what takeachance said above. Great description of link velocity, something I have really tried to push on this thread. Using some of the indicators I have been pointing out (YSE, GWT), you can get a good grasp of how your links are being picked up, and how fast. Then you can just start to apply the gas peddle.

It is very important to ramp up and ramp down. You want a fairly low profile bell curve effect. Essentially, the greater the number of links you plan on hitting your site with, the greater number of weeks you should wait to hit it at full throttle.

I ramp'd up fairly quickly, but did maintain the building consistently and over time. I feel that this is a riskier strategy according to 'common knowledge', but the experiment, as far as one website goes, was very successful at proving that you can hit a site hard as long as you are consistent and spread it over time.

I've seen in the thread several times the question of an aged domain. I have a website that is almost a year old. It makes between $.50-$3 daily on Adsense. For my next experiment I plan on using this website. I will continue to track the same statistics as the first experiment, but add income much more consistently. I am also going to expand content at a far greater scale. I will do a formal write up in the next 24 hours or so. I know quite a few of you have existing websites that are aged, but not touched in a while. I think this will be a great time to get those sites active again. I'm more than happy to spearhead the way and help everyone come up with a sensible yet aggressive plan for taking an aged domain to the next level.

More to come in around 24 hours. If you have questions or idea's along the line of attacking an aged domain, please post them here.

Questions and comments always welcome!

Let's suppose that updating content is one of the best ways to get good rankings in google...

But is it a good way to get good conversions/sales?

In my opinion being number 1 with a salesletter is more effective when it comes to sales than being number one with a blog. Any other opinions on that?

When you say link to inner pages as well as my homepage do you mean add the url's to the list of websites that I am going to blast?... I was too anxious to get going that I think I've pretty much messed up my aged domain. Is it unsafe to blast a new site that I want my income to come from?
