To get a badass growth, you need to have good email results.

To get good emails results, you need a solid email reputation / email deliverability.

And you don't have a great deliverability by sending that much emails, that sucks.

You get great results by acting human. A human does not send more than 200/300 emails per day per email address. A human uses a real email inbox and does not rotates IPs. A real human (who doesn't spam) has a high level of engagement on his emails. That means his emails get opened, clicked, marked as important, replied, removed from spam if needed.

Conclusion : send from Gmail / G Suite accounts, use MailShake to automate the sending, use Mailreach for your deliverability / open rates.

A part from MailShake, that's my setup and I get more than 70% open rate of average for each of my customers. I do this without having to spam all the planet.

Custom build SMTP with correct DNS records in order to be compliance will always be the best way to go.

For software I do recommend Mailwhizz

Correct me if I am wrong, you are in lead gen business right? You are not closing the leads into clients , you are selling the leads. Is that right?

Of course not, that's actually the worst way to go. That's the worst for a great deliverability.

Include a unsubscription at the footer of your emails, most email get reported as spam when you don't

I agree and I'm going for a similar setup.

However, recently I heard from several people in this space that they are facing deliverability issues by using Mailshake, Wodpecker etc and the only really viable option at the moment is Gmass.

Have you experienced anything along those lines recently?

It's the best solution to spam all the planet and get shit results. It was a good solution in 2000.

I don't use Mailshake now but some friends do and have very good open rates (50%+)

Actually between Mailshake, Gmass, Woodpecker I don't think there a lot of differences. They all send with Gmail / Gsuite and that's the most important factor with having a delay betwen emails, etc

And I'm sure they all allow to setup a custom tracking domain, doing this is super important.

Typically, sending with Gmass without using a custom tracking domain will make you land in spam in less than 2 weeks.

Well, if you use Mailreach on the side it helps anyway for open rates.

Nothing wrong with a custom built email server with Mailwizz on. I do it all the time for my clients (Not on BHW but Upwork) who want a cheap solution that works well.

Why just use the free email service that comes standard with most cloud hosting solutions. you can create as many email addresses as you want. I think this beats paying $6/mo per email sender with G-suit or Microsoft, or Am I missing something?

These results are pretty rare from what I know, you surely are well experienced with email campaigns.

What I'm saying is that it's more difficult to have decent results with this kind of setup VS sending with G Suite.

Most of people I know who use setups such as powerMTA etc think they have good open rates when they reach 20/30%.

You can try that, but sending from G suite has the best deliverability according to the tests I've done with my team. But it may change of course, nothing is definitive.

Email is the number one marketing channel in terms of ROI. That's cheap and that works if you're not too bad at copywriting.

Given that, what's the problem to spend some money when you know you'll get it back + more ?

There will always exist cheaper options that bring results. But I prefer starting with a setup that has proven its effectiveness but costs money than spending dozens of hours trying to optimize an option that has unknown results.

I thought Gmass allows for setting up custom tracking domain?
I'm using warmupinbox instead of mailreach. However, I do see that mailreach might be better.

I'm 95% sure Gmass allows it.

I've tried warmupinbox but that's pretty cheap compared to Mailreach. Their warm up is too basic.

The guys at Mailreach are really good cold emailers and their warmup is constantly getting better, they're passionate. Btw, their support is dope.

Yes you can do that with gmass and it is actually encouraged to do so for best delievery.

You mentioned you send cold emails for your clients. Do you ask your clients to buy the domain name and setup G-Suitethen give you the login details and you attach their G-Suite to your MailShake account for sending?

Or do you buy the domain yourself and use it on your own G-Suite? If so doesn't the client prefer to own the domain since it is their name/brand name?

Sounds you know what your doing. Are you doing the IP warmup for your clients as well or do you leave the IPs warmup to the client to take care of?

yeah I have to do the warmup as well, otherwise they normally stuff it up and I have to fix it.
