March Update is here!

So far so good.

I haven't seen any major dips.

The bigger hit happened in May of last year, but my network recovered.

If anybody has suffered any kind of traffic downturn thanks to the March update, the best advise I can give you is to keep creating content, but make sure it's fully optimized in terms of search intent.

Also, it helps if you do internal linking intelligently.

What do I mean by that?

Whatever it is you're linking to internally must add value to the page you're linking from.

As long as you follow this, regardless of what kind of algorithmic penalties Google throws your way, eventually, value will define your site and you will more likely recover.

Of course, nothing is guaranteed, but this is how I got out from under a nasty decline in traffic last year.

If it worked for me, I'm sure it'll work for you.

Keep in mind that I don't build backlinks.

So that's a positive factor, as far as I'm concerned.

Its a kind of partial result some clients got hit and dropped in the results and some clients did not get any effects

same here, i have 3 proyects one of them just skyrocketing right now the second just flat the third one tanks :(

Oh yeah, some of my rankings look like luna back in may

One of old websites that was crushed ages ago is now in the #2 spot on Google !

I was going to delete this website too because it was just taking up space on my server....

Now it's making me some nice passive income :)

Lesson learned......never ditch an old website

Very good insights.
I, too, was hit last May but recovered some of the site with this March update.
What I did? The same as you... posted more content, optimised (a bit) existing content, and improved interlinking.
The section which I worked on more than doubled in traffic after the March update.

I think we have recovered a lot since the last update on my website.,...
