Making Money With Goldfarming - Who's done it?

So if you didn't know there's this way of making money online - you can play video games and then sell the in game items for real money!

Here's a picture of a GoldFarming Bot! It's killing a monster for money.



Personally I've ran a couple of bot farms on a game called Runescape and had slight success making a couple of hundred dollars whilst keeping the character I play alive and stocked with all the gold and items that I wanted!

I'd love to hear other peoples tactics, wether they'd ever want to get into it and what they've made if they succeeded!

If anyone wants a short guide on this, reply and i'll write a short one with the things you'll need to get started etc

My friend from Europe is running gambling bots on Tibia and makes a lot of cash from it. He then sells the runes or w/e on his countries website, something like eBay. He drives a new audi, has a nice house, travels to Bangkok/US for vacations so I'm sure there's money to be made especially since he's doing it on an old game.

I even did something similar but on WoW way back when it was first released and made about $80/day. Back then I would make $10/1,000g now it's a few cents but I'm sure it's still possible just more time consuming.

Where you can get the botts for games ? Guess they are not to sell or ?

You can make your own or just do a google search and buy one. My friend makes his so it's a lot easier for him I guess.

Back in like '06 I was doing arbitrage with in game currencies. I'd buy for the lowest price I could, and then find buyers in game and sell at a steep mark up. The money wasn't bad for a young kid.

When I was 14 years old I hacked Habbo accounts and sold them.. I earned around 1500$. Because the stuff has a value, but don't do the same as me. Don't hack accounts, that's bad.
