I think the main problem you'll find is this sort of thing doesn't really work anymore. About two years ago it was possible to do things like resize a product picture to something Big (like 1600x1200) with an affiliate link, drop some prose around it, and G would eventually put you up toward the top of the image heap. Worked awesome for things people wanted to see before they clicked on, like specific designs of ASoTV products. Now the ordering is more or less SERP-order, so unless there's very little "image competition" it's a fight to the top.

I would like to add that Google image has this technology which reads pictures. So if it finds two similar pictures, it prefers to show the original one from its "original" mother site.
