You make more money doing what works, period. BH or WH is a secondary question, and a relative one. What is considered white hat today may be deemed black hat in future algo changes or updates. One should use BH tactics first because they work, and second because they may protect your site and properties from penalization (now or later). Use of parasites, for example, may not be penalized if you run other current BH methods on them, or currently WH methods that get deemed BH later by the search engines.
