I don't sponsor any kind of activity suggested as in the OP, actually I find that people who do this kind of sh!t are lowlifes who fall just short of 419 scammers and who are too dull to come up with a real business idea/method.

However, from your post, we are all deceiving our own sites' real interest by artificially boosting/misrepresenting the number of links and people talking about it. Sooooo that kind of backfires on all of us.

When doing any type of SEO, are you not "artificially boosting/misrepresenting the number of links and people talking about it"???? You are artificially growing your own gain at the expense of website owners who are not, as well as taking advantage of certain techniques that search engine companies has put in place to give the best results to their customers. If it's not organic, it's manipulation of a system - which isn't "ethical" in itself.

Not sure how that comment comes into play but I just thought that I would respond for the sake of it.

No the difference is when we "artificially boost" links, we are actually building something that we believe will be sustainable or at least sustainable with continued work.

I do not feel bad about selling a site on Flippa that I have achieved solid rankings through SEO efforts that have sustained good traffic over long periods of time, as I believe that with continued upkeep, the new buyer can do the same.

The OP is faking traffic from other site's he owns, and then eventually will yank the traffic all together. This is fraud, as the traffic will not be sustainable no matter what the buyer does, since the OP controls it and will eventually yank it leaving the buyer with nothing.

Ok, replace SEO with link-building in my comment.

However, if "artificially growing your own gain at the expense of website owners who are not, as well as taking advantage of certain techniques that search engine companies has put in place to give the best results to their customers" doesn't include building lots of links yourself in your book, then you should do some research on how to get real traffic instead of developing methods from fake traffic.
 
This is not blackhat, it's just a scam and people should just stop scamming each other.... fact that you find a shortcut for ranking high in google is maybe blackhat, but you're atleast not scamming people...
 
Re-read my post and my comment above. If you don't like the "selling the site", then drop it - while I just shared with you a great way to generate large amounts of traffic and then I just added info on how to redirect portions of your traffic to your sites or even affiliate pages.
 
I have one question, when use hidden iframe to drive traffic, the traffic source in GG Analytics will shows blank source or come from search engine?

I appreciate this method since he provide something new.. This one is a useful information that everybody don't want to share.. In my opinion , a scam is a scam unless it was being applied so.
If you're not comfortable of doing it then it's simple .move on and don't do it

What's really sad is that Flippa is being inundated with fake traffic, inflated sites and this in turn will bring down the value for people that are selling real sites. I've noticed prices have seem to moderate over the last year or so and Flippa is well aware that this goes on. That's why they insist on "due diligence" when purchasing...
 
This is why I'd never buy a site online from anyone! Why not sells the forums that are getting the traffic rather than ripping some clueless dumbwit on Flippa
 
Thanks for the traffic generation method thing, not really into the selling of the fake sites though but whatever :P Especially that ping script :D

Now i see this. If you don't copy from other forums, you need your own QUALITY content and there's a lot of work. After 3 months of hard work you sell the main website for $200 or $500. The problem with ur plan is that the website NEED to make money if you want to sell it high. $500 for 3 months work its not my way.

Don't get me wrong, the plan is good but you cant sell only traffic. This has potential with some twists.

Working on the twists already :P If it works I'll probably post them here :P

Anyways does anyone know the name of a script/plugin that copies posts from other forums and posts them onto yours? I see tonnes of spam forums like these who copy everything from huge forums.
