Hi. Let's say I will start youtube channel with long videos ( original content and original created my music ). What if I will upload also shorts to same channel (shorts will be created with not original content), will it affect this channel monetization? I mean, main videos will be original, but shorts will be copied. Can I have issues monetizing my channel later, because of copied shorts? Or it more safe to use separate channels?

Were you able to find answer for this?

That's exactly what I am thinking now. I make some edits from long vids and then publish it as shorts, but I need much more shorts, so I am thinking about taking similar content from tiktok

+1 on this topic, I'm curious if that affects it

Generally, reuploading shorts without changing them will make it difficult to monetize your channel.
However, you can easily work around this by making simple changes to the shorts. Also, be sure to upload them at a safe frequency.

you can do it without penalization nowadays but in the futuro I think YT would give you strikes

Yes, you will have problems with monetization if you do it. You can get demonetized.
