Made $30 on two articles today

Hi I have a Question..

I have my second article approved but it says that "No payment / Exclusive"

But my first article has "Upfront payment / Exclusive"

what did i did wrong?

AC doesn't pay you upfront for every article due to various reasons...

You can still earn money through pageviews though.

I've tried not to post too much here without having a good amount of info to add, so I've been dormant and just working AC lie I was and making little tweaks here or there.

AC is great when you really start treating it like a business like it needs to treated. I'm getting consistent offers now for $5+ using methods outlined here by Redtide & the tips I've offered myself in my posts to everyone here on BHW. I'm definitely living proof that this is a very successful method of making money online & is more guaranteed than any method I've ever used to make you money as long as you put in the work. AC is as closed to getting a real job online as you can get.

If you put in the work you will get payed for it. Period! That's all there is to it. My accepted to declined ration is great too. I've only had maybe 3% of my articles declined in the first 100 I wrote. This will greatly effect your pay & your ability to fly below the radar with AC. If you can keep your declined submissions to a bare minimum they will leave your accounts alone & never dig deep enough to see that they are all going to the same paypal account (with different e-mail addresses). I can easily run 4 AC accounts now, & I don't have any problems.

Treat AC like a business, just like outlined in Redtides e-book & AC will pay you just like a legit business. Plus it's very consistent when you get ahead of the curve guys. I get payed every monday, wednesday, & friday because I'm always that far ahead on submissions. I know when you first start out its discouraging having to wait a week to get your articles read and payed, but I promise when your volume & quality increases they read them faster as well. My average time for getting them reviewed and paid is 2-3 days. Sometimes they even do it over night, which they never did when I was a small fish there.

Clout level is very important and you should take on any method that is appropriate to raise your clout as quick as possible. Clout is like your respect level with AC, if you get that up your payments will increase with it as well as your turn around time for getting things reviewed. Plus you get those ever so sweet partner calls from AC when you get to about a 5. So many people aren't spending time promoting there articles when that is the best way to get the higher payments quick.

To anyone discouraged because your only getting $2 payouts don't worry, a few of my accounts started that way & are breaking $5 now. It is completely dependent on clout level & how much AC values your content. When you show them that your articles get traffic they directly reward you with higher upfronts later because it shows them your material is worth it to them to invest in. It's simple business and should make perfect sense to everyone. I promise if you guys hang in there you will get much better upfronts. It's like getting a good raise honestly. When your making $2 each article and all of the sudden your getting $5 each your income more than doubles. Just hang in there, plus once you get a lot of articles out there you will see that you can actually make some good extra change of of your monthly performance payouts as well.

Anyone who is serious about AC please do yourself a favor and BUY Redtides E-Book I put that in bold because you need to realize that is the single best thing I ever did with my AC career. I bought Redtides e-book after I was already successful with AC & I still learned a lot and in return within a week I finally broke the $5 mark. Redtides e-book totally rocks and is worth every penny it costs. You will make it back in a few days honestly, it's just a simple business expense really & one of the cheapest ones ever for the return it will get you.

I don't want to ramble but I was checking in to let you guys know my AC business is still ever growing & so are my payouts. Skys the limit for upscaling this AC business, just realize it does take a lot of your time. I put in about 10 hours a day & if I had more time I'd upscale it more & put in more hours but I can't right now.

To anyone who doesn't think this will work or the payouts aren't enough your wrong, you just aren't thinking large enough which is why you should read Redtides AC Guide. The more time you can spend getting away from the tedious parts & automating AC the more money you will make and the more worth it the payout will seem.

I'm not going to disclose how much I'm making but I lost my job 2 months ago from being in the hospital for 2 1/2 weeks & I'm paying my mortgage, 2 car payments, insurance, all my utilities, & feeding my family with JUST AC money. I'm living off of this currently, I put in full time hours and I'm getting more than a full time payout for the area of the US I live in.

Cheers to my AC brothers and I wish you all great success. If you are serious about this or are just starting with AC I would recommend Redtides AC Guide to everyone. He practically holds your hand through the whole process of building a successful AC business.

@ adiharry1980 - Without seeing the way your articles are formatted it's tough to say what you may be doing wrong. The best thing to do is compare your own formatting to how the top content producers at AC are doing it. What specifically are you having problems with and we can try to help?

Btw, are you submitting by using Danny's AC Mass Submitter or are you using AC's own submission templates?

@ yimzwik - Like Elvis said, it could have been any number of things that we've outlined earlier in the thread that could have made them deny it for upfronts. You can either accept for performance pay only, or resubmit after reworking it like I talk about in my guide. I know you just got it yesterday (thanks btw), so put the tweaks I talk about into any of your articles that do get offered performance only, and you can still get upfronts for them.

@ Elvis - Thanks man, how have you been?

@ JonWrong - Hi Jon, thanks again for your always inspiring posts. I'm glad to know you're still doing great! I was wondering if you were still alive and kicking because we hadn't heard from you for awhile. Congrats on the consistent $5+ offers btw! Tell your fiance congrats as well!

Cheers

is this maybe im sending them in not using proxy?

Because after I registered the account i don't use proxy. so the ip will be my country..

I think that's it...

http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/members/33736-redtide1969.html

No, if you're submitting your articles without a proxy and they catch onto it they'll suspend your account (and possibly link and suspend all of your accounts). I definitely recommend using a proxy or IP change but as long as you know the risks, it's all good.

Again, it could have been any number of things. Tweak it like I talked about above and resubmit. If it's a well written/unique article, there's a good chance it will be accepted for upfronts by the next person to review it.

Thanks but.. I cant resubmit it because its published already..

and for the proxy IP thanks.. I found now how to easy change my IP..

No problem, lol you didn't say you had accepted it, but now you'll know for the future. Glad to hear you'll be using an IP change from now on. What method are you using?

Maybe it will help some other people here who are looking for a proxy/IP solution.

Actually The IP change method is that... 1 IP per account per day.

example is in one account you submit 5 articles with just one IP

Because if you are legit and don't have other accounts you will use only 1 IP right?

I change my IP via IE option manually..

and now my problem is......
All my other Published article are "No payment / Exclusive"

So I have 5 article approve with"No payment / Exclusive" and only 1 article with "Upfront payment / Exclusive"

can any one figured out what i did wrong?? or its just AC update something..

Guys here is a huge hint, I will call this article e-whoring:

Hot female twitter account + catchy tweets + hidden links (hootsuite anyone?) = page views and $$$

Yes, it worked for me. Today I just added another $25.00 pv to my AC account and $50 to my Triond account. SHHHHH! Don't tell anyone, ok?

That's all I have to say.:D

Now, I'm going back to writing.

Article E-Whoring! LOL

You've just taken bum marketing to a different plane altogether! :D

I hope you won't re-christian the writers e-Pi*ps!

Anyway, OK, I won't tell anyone about it! ;)

This was actually my number one way to get my clout level up ridiculously fast in the beginning of my AC career. I have found better quicker methods as of now but for anyone looking for a good start to getting there page views up this works wonders. I just did the following.

1. Manually made 5 twitter accounts, added hot 35 yr old soccer mom pics, & then advertised myself as a mom returning to college who wrote articles to help pay for everything & tell them that just by reading your articles and critiquing how good or bad they are it will help me with school immensely.

2. Get a good twitter friend adder tool, there are lenty of them out there. I recommend good ol' pyrogenics twitter desktop from the member here on BHW. It works great for adding friends and managing multiple twitter accounts. I love it

3. Add 500-1000 friends each day to each account. I prefer to fly under the radar so I do 475 friends a day & never ran into a problem. Once you get enough follower on each account to make it worth it start your tweets.

4. Get a good url shortener/cloaker & start making your tweets. Play off the good looking 35 yr old soccer mom angle well who's in school and needs her articles critqued yada yada yada. You know how it goes, but the better you can play this role without going over the top the better your ROI will be for your time.

5. Make about 2-3 tweets a day with your article links on each account out of the 5 as well as making some relevant tweets that make you seem "real" to people that don't contain any links or any form of spam. Doing this I got my page views up FAST in just a few days when I first started with AC. I can't tell you all the ways to get creative with this but please try to tweak it out because you will see results get better and better.

6. Also look into Twitter Karma for doing mass un-follows every week or so so your twitter account doesn't get to clutter with people not following you back. You gotta weed them out about once a week.

That is the best way to use twitter and some minor e-whoring to get your page views and clout level up really quick. Also AC NEVER got mad at me for advertising this way & I even had a few of my twtitter account attached to my AC accounts doing "Auto" tweets right when they post your articles up online. So it's automated a little bit as well, when your articles go up AC will post a tweet for your followers to come see your latest article that is up.

I hope this helps some AC newbs or AC seniors that are having a hard time with page views & clout level,. I abandoned this method after finding some other ways to get huge page view increases but for 2 months this worked great for me as I worked on building a much larger library of AC articles to work with.

@ yimzwik - Right, you'll only need the one IP per account. As far as where you're going wrong with your upfronts it's ipossible to tell without looking over a few of your articles. Feel free to paste a few of them in a PM to me and I will look look them over for you.

Are you writing the articles yourself, or are you having them rewritten?

@ Millygirl - Lol, I like that phrase you coined. Most of my accounts are set up that way with a full profile of an attractive female. I don't use "pornstar hot" profiles because they tend to look a little too spammy. I also take the time to use feminine backgrounds from twitterbackgrounds.com and then like jonWrong was mentioning, each profile has it's own "sob story" as to why it will be a big help to me for everyone to check out my tweets.

A little bit of creativity goes a long way here.

@ JonWrong - Thanks for another indepth breakdown. To add to what you posted, here's a few other tips.

1) Since people are semi-automating the process, the more accounts the merrier!

4) Hootsuite has a built in url shortener, so it makes it really handy to manage multiple accounts, auto posts then and url shortening all in one.

5) I run quite a bit more than 2-3 tweets of my articles per day, per account (about 8-10 over a 24 hour period). Just be creative about the tweets and how they're presented. Definitely mix them up with regular posts as well.

is there a thread in this forum where article formatting is discussed... because i m having a lot of problem there...i submitted two articles were grammatically correct and there were no spelling mistakes...but can't understand there formatting guideline can anybody give a sample or suggestion...tutorial anything....:)

I always copied mine from MS word directly to their text box...it usually gives me a popup asking if i want to format it or something, then another text box pops up and i copy it into that and everything from Word stays the same. There ma be an esier way but thats always the way i did it.

Im sure your articles are probably written by someone else but you may want to make sure you are proofreading carefully or you have an english native check your writers work for the first few articles. Your post was pretty hard to read and if the writing is anything like that at all AC wont take it.

here is the article that i wrote after which i stop bcoz i thought it will be of no use until i know my mistake...this article is rewritten by me and i used AC's submitter

article removed....

Ok, just a heads up that if you do ever plan on submitting this article to AC you're going to want to edit your post and take it down asap. AC keeps close tabs on this subforum, so it's a surefire way to get your account banned if you leave this article up.

What's the reasoning AC's editors have been giving you regarding the formatting issues? The problems that I'm seeing are more grammatical and keyword based. One thing I'll say right off the bat is that the opening paragraph doesn't really read like a proper opening paragraph should. It sounds as if it was taken from the middle of the article body and placed as the first paragraph.

I'm not sure if you have my guide, but like I talk about, the opening paragraph is one of the most important aspects of any AC article. It's one of the only things the AC editors actually check with their own eyes.

Also, what keyword or keyword phrase are you targeting with this piece?

Better you plan a safari tour to Africa's forest
incomplete
You can enjoy several types of tours - you can drive your self into the safari, you can go on customized tours and you can opt for set
you should omit the " - " and just put: "...tours and can drive yourself..." (it's one word)

No offense but this is your first paragraph and there's already enough mistakes to warrant a rejection.

The formatting is the least of your concerns. No offense, but not everyone is cut out to be a writer (or a rewriter for that matter), especially if english isnt your first language. Outsource the articles if you want to continue with AC and hire an english speaker to review your writers before submitting their work.

I wanted to say the same things, but then thought I'd be wasting my time. There are so many errors and mistakes (if you know the difference between the two), the article is never going to pass the editors... that's it. A*C isn't a simple personal blog, my dear friend, it's a business house and they want quality English articles. They also define what quality is, so give them that on their terms & conditions.

Also, by putting your submitted article here in toto, you've effectively given them a chance to ban you... think about it. Redtide and many other good members have already spoken about this factor, and I am amused at how people simply do not read those great advices and then put themselves in deep troubles.

P.S.: This is one of your paragraphs:
Quote:
Tie up with Travel Company is another experience. Travel companies do have more experience and will serve you better and you can see thoroughly and important points and in a short time you can see more than you see in your own chosen trip. In this arranged trip you will have a better chance of seeing a variety of animals.
Unquote.

Now tell me how many mistakes are there -- count all the sentence-structure errors, punctuation errors, and definitely count your "and"s. Could you have re-written it better? Also, please explain, "and you can see thoroughly and" ... What do you want to say exactly? Of course, everyone can 'see thoroughly' if they want to! :) What's the big deal! How does this sentence add more detail to your article?

Do you want to say that you can see the beauty of nature thoroughly and at your own leisure... that they can arrange for photo sessions, wait for exquisite birds, and may just be able to find some white elephants with their babies in tow, or be able to see a beautiful pregnant tigress to turn up quietly at the beautiful waterhole if they wait long enough -- possible only if they take a specially arranged private tour? Something of this sort... Paint the exotic picture, man! Think as if you are getting a last chance to win the gold at an Olympic event, and you're the only one who is participating... grab the chance of making your readers love your work! Make that article literally glow! Make the reader purchase that next flight ticket immediately!LOL

Another:
" They are Lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo."
Do you spot any mistake here?

Another:
"Even though these most fascinating safaris of Africa attract people all over the world people avoid them because of most high expensive tariffs."
... ... ...

Anyway, no offence intended, of course! :)

Hey guys thought i'd contribute a bit to help you on some niches. I'm not doing AC for upfronts anymore and I really dont care if it becomes saturated lol. I noticed that one particular article I did for them is outperforming on organic pageviews. Its an article about how to do a very normal desk type job better. I dont want to give the exact niche since it will kinda point me out...but basically its:

How to be a more successful ______
The road to becoming a great _______
How to become a ________ in _____ days. (lolz)

So basically just find a specific job out there that doesnt have a ton of articles published about it and fire away. I dont know about payments (I didnt get much more than I usually do) but hell, ive only got a small amount of articles up and this particular one outperforms them all combined.

Cant hurt, especially for building page views.

@ adl.harry1980 - I kind of feel bad because it may look like we're picking on your work, but that's not the case at all. The only way to improve what you're doing is to be given good constructive criticism.

Here's another thing I wanted to add regarding posting articles up that you're planning on possibly submitting...

If something is posted here at BHW that you've already rewritten, it is then effectively online and would fail Copyscape for dupe content. This would make the fact that it's been rewritten a moot point and negate all of the effort you put in. ;)

Hopefully you'll get a chance to pull it down before the 24 hr. editing option is up.
