Red I submitted an article this morning with 391 words and it was rejected for a low word count. Perhaps this isn't in effect yet?
Made $30 on two articles today

To jurums - Well that sucks...I hope you're able to find your notepad. I'm still wanting to compile the thread like I talked about earlier but I just haven't had the time yet. 
To Nightshade - Yeah, it's strange. I was just checking out the forum at AC and other people have complained about the same thing. Leave it to AC to change the submission guidelines to 350 words and then not accept the damn articles for low word count. I hadn't submitted any below the old 400 word cutoff until today, so we'll have to see what happens.
A few of the writers from AC contacted support when their stuff was declined for the same reason and then had the articles accepted when they called AC out on it.
We'll have to play it by ear and see if they get their shit together

@ verve22 & Everyone - Just a heads up to those that may not have known...
The minimum word count for articles at AC has dropped to 350 words from the previous 400 words.
Again, AC is interested in fairly short but "tightly focused" articles as far as topic and subject matter. Submitting a 600-800 word article will not make for a higher upfront offer in the least.
If you didn't already know about the new minimum word count, enjoy the ability to secure rewriters easier at $1 per, scrape your actual content easier by not having to add more words to a short article, and if rewriting the articles yourself, busting out the rewriting of your content faster and easier!

I had 3 sent back today because the minimum word count was not 400. The submission template says 350 BUT someone didn't tell the editors. I'm not wanting to draw attention to my account, so I just added some filler words and resubmitted. I don't know what their problem is.

lol I know it's just nuts. It sits right at the top of the submission guidlines too. One person in the forum had theirs rejected at 357 words for low word count, then complained, and it was accepted with no further changes. I just don't get it either.

I have read so much about Treating it like a business... and I can definitely say that that is the key to anything online i guess... I`m now getting my mind right about the whole AC project thing. And the rewriting process is so fun and painless if you start it with the right attitude. It took me one whole month to start to actually do something... I was making excuses for myself every single day even the financial problems of mine did`nt help me to move things. Your mind is everything.
Thanks to all the guys on this thread for the information that is free FOR EVERYONE. I will that I have stepped over some big rocks today by just sitting down and thinking about everything and being honest to myself. Thanks again.

Had some additional just offered on. They were 350 to 360 words. My little experiment. Ha, ha. They went through! I guess not all the CP's got the memo on the change in the word count.

@ Stewy - Congrats for getting the first one accepted. Twist and tweak your content based on the threads here in this subforum and you should be able to bring those upfront offers higher.

redtides book has info on how to make accounts. as well black1411 sells them for $2.50 each
@jurums-- so true about the excuses thing man. i recently go my act together and will be hiring soon. people need ask themselves this: am i being productive or just being active. its easy to just do random stuff to delay what you fear

@ the64na - Like fcdude said, I'm not personally selling or creating PVA's, but do give step by step instructions for all current methods of creating them yourself in my Guide.
@ fcdude - I had been recommending people to use black1411 also but I don't think they're selling them anymore. Have you bought PVA's from them recently? I know they had been great to deal with in the past, but I haven't seen him/her posting at all within the last few months here.
Well said regarding diving in and not letting fears hold you back. There's definitely nothing to fear with AC, but people just have to be willing to roll with the punches and stick with it.

Here's a question I have for EVERYBODY reading this thread. This thing is getting 300-500 views a day so I know there's a lot of you. (lol you lurkers know who you are)
Anyway, most of you know that I'm putting together my new AC Insiders Guide for advanced users only. Thanks to all of you who have PMed/mailed me about when it will be released etc. I'd really like some feedback on what you would like to see it contain. For instance, what are your struggles? What specifics do you feel would really be a big benefit to you personally? I figure this can only help to specifically answer all of your needs.
Please don't respond here in this thread though because it will only clog up the thread unnecesseraly, and NONE of us need that. Please PM me with all of your suggestions.

I was one among those writers who wasted time writing for $.75, but now fortunately I have found a client who pays me a bit more. But now I want to earn somewhere around $3-5 for every 500-600 words article. Can you please help me with some tips on its and where do i find the project owners or sites which are legit and not scam(as I already got cheated twice).
And also do let me know how AC works(as Im an Indian, I read that only US residents get paid for the article).
Looking forward for you rresponse.

@ nikyfrancis - Your best solution is to help yourself in this case, you will learn a lot more by taking the bull by the horns and taking some notes as you go along. Reading this thread will answer all of your questions and then some

Sure, most of them can be used in such a way that they'll pass Copyscape. The problem comes from the amount of time necessery to get the article's quality high enough for submission to AC. In the amount of time it takes most people to rewrite an article with software they could have done 2-4 by hand.
Again, rewriting software is best used for spinning blog content and articles for submission to directories, not for sites like AC where you have to meet a certain level of quality. With that said, PAR, UAW and Wordflood seem to be the tools of choice.

is there a thread in this forum where article formatting is discussed... because i m having a lot of problem there...i submitted two articles were grammatically correct and there were no spelling mistakes...but can't understand there formatting guideline can anybody give a sample or suggestion...tutorial anything....
