How I understood it, they make money from the ads they are showing you in your notification bar. But they say that you will receive 70% of what the advertiser is paying to show you the ad.

Since a lot of people seem to claim to receive less money because of their location... what is your location then? I'm in Austria and just started using Brave. If anyone cares I could make an update in a few days on how much I've earned since I am working on my laptop almost 24 hours a day it could generate at least a few bucks I am guessing?

I think that conversion for 10k BAT, because those 12 dollars there keep changing the value
its just conversion rate and nothing more, its not how much money I have curently
the issue its I have money from other months and I dont know how to get them, and some other months are zero BAT, which its impossible, because I used brave I think for one year every month
so how I can get money from previous months?

interesting - in the "ad world" I know, the publisher also supposed to get a chunk of the revenue....(BTW commenting from a Brave browser)

The money's out there. Google and friends are taking much more than their deserved share. Once the WWW frees itself from Google and their likes and this becomes a decentralized system, everyone will make money online naturally. Because everyone's time is worth $.

We can't go on having one company leeching everyone's hard work.

Get your site verified on Brave Publishers and start receiving tips and donations too.

The WWW was born to be decentralized. I'm pretty sure the Brave model works if everyone joins up.

Interesting, I am using brave myself generating about 3 USD(I am european) of crypto monthly by using it passively on the side. I can cash it out, but i prefer to stack some potential coins for who knows ;)

I have high believes in brave/BAT the whole thing actually.

How did you manage to earn that much? My settings are set up on maximum ads a hour, and it barely meets those requirements regardless of activity.

I guess it depends on GEO? Surfing behaviour? X clients?

I didn't do anything at all.

Based on some other replies I do think it's heavily region dependent.

I have been using brave for over 4 months now and have made around $20 in BAT Tokens. However the service called Uphold that they use to has the worst customer support
 
I just started using it today(later in the day), based in the United States and so far I've earned $0.08 on just one device. I wouldn't rely on as a major source of income, putting it in the same category as connecting fitbit to Walgreens Health and other reward programs.
 
Congratz , I heard somewhere for the brave browser. There are a few other similar website like Honeygain
