Made $100 in March using Brave browser

no its not my main browser but I'm running it on one of my computers only and it seems to load faster than firefox. I'm fixing to clean the cookies and delete the file and see what happens.

Where is the file located that you deleted?

On windows
C:\Users\YOUR_USER_NAME\AppData\Local\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\User Data\Default\ads_service
client.json

i install it once , but it dont show me ads wy? i must have it some time? to appear ads?

I made 0.217 BAT (0.23 USD ) in 5 days. :)

That's very low.

So far I haven't noticed a pattern in members reporting why they get more or less.

If USA isn't higher payout, then something else is. Maybe browser usage? I only use Brave on all work PC's (mine and staff) so my IP probably gets marked as very active or something? Donno.

I thought I would make a minimum of $0.90 since I started on Wednesday, however it seems the earnings slow down a lot if you don't regularly use the browser, I'm only at $0.51 right now.

I use chrome for my work projects, and brave for browsing news sites, reddit and entertainment. If I switch to two monitors, the earnings may pickup due to being able to use two browsers at once more frequently, rather than a majority of time spend on chrome.

I wiped chrome off the work environment. Everyone should too. Brave is chrome with privacy and security and without the secret google components (the closed source part).

Idk why but my rewards keep dropping a few cents every now and then. also every ad only pays 0.001

They do vary because Brave is decentralized.

I noticed that ad clicks increase over the hour or so.

What region?

I notice that I usually get 0.01 per ad.
However I noticed a couple that seem lower.

I'm getting several x more per ad. What language are your ads showing up in? Mine are English but for some reason some Spanish ones have been showing too, probably because of my VPN providers switching there.

And I thought that US would get better payments...

Are you using brave as your main browser?
Also, have you tried to clean cookies and delete the brave rewards client file?

I think it's definitely about usage. More usage yields higher rewards.

The token is called Basic ATTENTION token. That's probably a hint. I think more attention (more time spent) means more $$$.

I would make the switch, but I don't think I could go without my chrome plugins.

I saw another one on Dragons Den: https://gener8ads.com/ - think you redeem vouchers but can't find out what

English 90% of the time. No VPN.

I don't know what to say about usage. There are days when the browser is up 10-12 hours and actively used at least half of that time.

Ended up using this.

How long was it till you saw your first ad. I'm UK based, not sure it seems to be working. Had it for 3-4 hours and nothing, despite setting it to 5 ads.

Is that normal?

Weird. I think the "attention span" might be the key. Since I've been using it for months now, my sessions are probably marked as long attention span or something like that. Who knows.

Funny. I installed this for a friend yesterday and I got the first ad straight away. It was a Mac computer and I thought it was funny how the ad showed up on the corner of the screen with a different design. It was almost instant.

Interesting to see all the different behavior from BHW members. I guess there's more complexity to the Brave ad system that I previously thought.

It would be interesting to see how well it could perform with a 12x raspberry pi cluster.

I was thinking of a setup of 3 4K monitors, and use a desktop to remote into each of the raspberry pi's and have each of them at 1080p and switch between each instance pretty frequently, but keep brave running all the time in each.

so far in five days I have received 87 ads at 0.78 seems less than 70% of the ad revenue don't you think

Right, so started getting ads this morning - not sure why it didn't work on the first day, but a PC restart and we're off to the races.

A massive 0.023 BAT amassed so far in the first 30 minutes.
