Made $100 in March using Brave browser

So.

Brave just sent out payments for partner websites and for viewing ads on their browser.

Turns out I made around $97 bucks across my work PCs by doing nothing. I just use Brave like it's Firefox (I don't go near Chrome with a 10 ft pole).

$15 here, $20 there, added up to around 100 bucks. It ain't much but it's completely unexpected beer money.

I wonder how much value is leaking everywhere right now. Most folks have no idea how much value Google, Facebook and Twitter take from them. Your time online is worth $$$ and most people don't get paid at all. This money goes to the big centralized corps instead of you.

Brave is paying for viewing time. So I must've spent time worth 100 bucks viewing stuff. Probably more if more people joined microcredit systems like Brave. Our time online is worth $$$ you should get rewarded for it.

The money's out there. Google and friends are taking much more than their deserved share. Once the WWW frees itself from Google and their likes and this becomes a decentralized system, everyone will make money online naturally. Because everyone's time is worth $.

We can't go on having one company leeching everyone's hard work.

Get your site verified on Brave Publishers and start receiving tips and donations too.

The WWW was born to be decentralized. I'm pretty sure the Brave model works if everyone joins up.

Some noon question:

1) is brave actually safe to use my Social logins, payment details etc,
2) do they pay via PayPal? Or only crypto
3) does using them burn our cpu? Or machine burn in the sense does it over load and destroy s it
 
can you take you money out of the site tho. dont they just issue bat tokens?
 
How much I can get a reward if I use brave in my three servers most of the time I spend there.

1) As safe as FF IME. Been using it for everything for years, no issues.
2) They pay in a crypto called BAT
3) No CPU consumption at all. It's a normal browser. It does not mine the BAT using your CPU. They send the BAT every month.

Your browser gets a random anonymous BAT address when you join up. No signup or anything.

This address is tagged on your visits to sites and so on. They add up the time and send you BAT to pay you for the time spent at sites to this anonymous address.

Yes. You can sign up for a non-anonymous wallet called Uphold. There it's a proper financial service like Paypal. They require your real ID. From Uphold you can withdraw actual cash.
 
Ye, I think I withdrew once in 2020. :D But personally, I feel unsafe using that browser. So, moved to Edge xD
 
Even i also earned some BAT tokens from brave browser

Think about this in a bit larger office, like 20 or so PCs, everyone using Brave. It'd likely pay for internet access and other office costs just to use Brave.

We're all using Chrome or Edge for free, getting nothing in return for it.

I think the Brave model is on the right track here. People should get paid for their time spent on sites.

Pretty good, is there anyway you can via their dashboard or something correlate hours used in the browser?
 
SO, can you withdraw your BAT coins to another platform?
I don't want cash, I would rather invest these coins in another coins. It's free money after all.

Funny thing is, 100$ is 1/5 of my monthly income so not beer money for me haha.
Also, if you use Chrome,it will sync your bookmarks and favorites so you won't lose anything.
