I have been a windows guy through and through, never used Mac. My professional requirement is creating and promoting websites on WordPress, I don't do any coding. Basic usage of a photo editing stuff using paint on windows, to download edit and upload logos on a website. I mostly don't use any desktop softwares, mostly work on browser based tools. What you all think, should I stick to windows or go for the Mac.

You can use linux just fine with browser software + it comes with free desktop software as well so you can save some money on that. Tbh if you mostly work in the browser any OS is fine.

I have used both, and for your task, Windows is fine
If you draw or design new images, you need a Mac with good resolution. It has very good color and fast loading speed
Otherwise, it is very inconvenient, especially when filtering large numbers of images

Mate… Well, you know what they say if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
I was a Windows guy all my life until last year. Both my Dell laptops gave up on me during a really busy period. One just stopped working out of nowhere, so while that was getting fixed, I pulled out my backup Dell (my old one before I upgraded), and that one refused to even power on.
That whole mess is what pushed me to finally try out a Mac. I made the switch and even upgraded my Mac earlier this year. Honestly, I’ve enjoyed working on a Mac more than Windows... especially since most of my work is web-based too

I have been on both the sides in addition to using linux. Windows is perfectly capable of doing what you are looking to do. If you don't want to deal with XAAMP/WAMP, install docker (or podman, which is an open source replacement to docker) and dockerize your local wp installation.
Mac does lack a paint like app though. But nothing that open source apps cannot fix (inkscape/krita).
Now the question is, do you like macs? If you do, by all means buy an apple silicon mac. You won't regret it.
