Came across this article about oxylabs / luminati lawsuit, about some tech patent infringement that Oxylabs alegedly did. It wouldn't be too bad of a look for luminati if that was the only thing but it appears that Luminati also did some shady scare tactics against their competitors clients as well threatening to sue them. What the fuck is up with that, I see their ads all over the web don't they have enough money... they need to this shady shit too lol?

I'm just shocked companies that are very very likely involved in scanning/cracking are going down the legal route in the first place. As if that's shaky a grounds enough.
Or do they have some super whitehat way of getting millions of backconnects?

Those posts should be posted by oxylabs...I found it everywhere...I think Luminati proxies are much better,
Both sides should not waste time for that in my views, need to keep their proxies work better

Haha, This is a special "business",
But objectively speaking, luminati is much reasonable compare to others, at least they made very clear "Disclaimer" if you want to know it.
Lots of those software (Free VPNs or blockers) or residential proxy providers avoid answering "How got those IPs"

I am also interested in how oxylabs got their "IP pool", is another "private" botnet? Safe to use? I think they need to disclaimer also

I don't think it's shady.
Nowadays you can hear on TV/Radio that brand X is better than brand Y. Marketing.
