Hey from France !
Recently I build a big e-commerce website in dropshipping method using BigBuy. Everything here is fine, all the products got a description, picture, GTIN and all that kind of stuff. I dont know if it can help but its into the pets furnitures niche.
I got here 3500 products (I include here all of the products variations).
In my journey I start with Facebook making ads for thé most « wow effect » products that I sell on my website but I spend like 1500€ for making 30€ which is for sure an absolute horror.
I then think about it and because im selling basic stuff and nothing really « wow » its start making sensé not make ads on FB but on Google, targeting peoples who was already thinking buying those products.
I launch a Google Shopping campain without any structure, putting all my products on the same product and ads group, a unique one.
There I got more results, 13 sells in 1 month (which is also terrible for earnings because I spend 350€ and win like 30€, but its largeeeely better than with FB ads).
The thing is that im struggling into making it viable. I want making money for sure, at least enough to cover the website and bigbuy fees and ads fees.
Do you got any advice for me ? I got no idea where Im going, like I can’t let my 15€/day go into ads during 6 month like this, I realy need to grow the thing and Im sure its possible but Im very begginer with GShopping.
Here are some stats if it can help you:
- I got a CTR of 1% more or less
- I put the CPC limit to 0.10€ and on the entire month of agust I got a global 0.09€ CPC
- All my products are there, I dont exclude any and not sure if I have to and for which reasons
- Do I need to only make ads for products where I am competitive ? Its that simple ? Idk
- I got only 1 campain / 1 group of ads / 1 group of products with indeed for all the same CPC limit.
- I got a minimal 1€ benefice on my products (some with more obviously but nothing crazy like in the olds days of dropshipping AliExpress poor quality products and with 200% benefice)
- I sell and ads only un France for now
- I got like 100 clics by day
- I look what peoples do with Hotjar and most of the time they juste scroll a bit and get out (my website is Quick and no problem on mobile phone, I am Web developer and aware of all that stuff)
Do you got some advices ? Références ? I see a lot of vidéos and all but thats never for a whole big ecommerce website with that much products.
I am selling quality products, the package is very clean with my logo, the delivery take 3-5 days, I am making the minimum benefice for intenting being competitive and I am on some products but for sure not on every. I want here to setup a viable long term business, taking out 1500€/month of it will be more than enough for me and my purposes.
