    Hi,

I am looking for someone who can create and host mobile sites. They have to be well made and be custom made not using cheap templates. Am willing to charge.

    $30 - 1-3 page site

    $40 - 4-6 page site

which is a lot of money per site as there is software you can obtain easily to make the sites very easily and for free...however i need someone to do the whole service as i don't have the time

I am in the process of setting up a site selling this service and will be putting a lot of marketing behind it so will be able to bring a lot of orders your way.

Basically creating either custom made mobile sites to a persons requirement or converting their existing sites into a 1 to 6 page mobile site.

    $30 - 1-3 page site

    $40 - 4-6 page site

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

    thanks

I've been selling mobile sites at £197+ to £997 all day long for over 18 months.
    I pay my VA's £50 per 3page site/ £300 full custom CMS.
As for software it's called dreamweaver that free shit ain't worth a damn in the real world.
I'm presently working on a script that mirrors their website and updates their mobile site,
mobile optimised as new content is posted or added to their main site.

maybe its just me but wouldnt one just add a plugin to there cms to resize based on the device. plus most smartphones do this on the fly?

joomla offers such plugins nowadays too, oxonbeef maybe a quick look at the source of a few of those plugins would give you a head start on the php

    BWAHHH HAH HAH HAH HAH!!!

At those prices, you will be lucky to find someone who will lie to you about being able to do it.

Try Odesk and the like, you might get some interest there.

    design+domain+hosting for $40? HAH!

I sell though private contract. I have a list of Good Va's that I could refer to you.
My marketing method is commission only sales people and testimonials.
Knock on doors, ring phones. Selling to offline businesses is not the same as
affiliate or CPA. Businessmen do not have time or the notion to search out
marketing methods, you have to take it to them. And impress them.
    The maths are pretty simple.
You get 20 guys out their punting your business.
You charge £197 and pay them £50 and your Va £50 leaving you £97.
You also get another $100 hosting commission.
Profit per sale About £160 x 20 counting on one sale a day per salesman.
    £3200 a day = £22.400 per week.
Just don't get burnt out like I did. Keeping it all together is a nightmare.

Where to get those 20 guys. they must be US or Uk resident . I dont think they will work for £50 if they saw your website ?? This is the difficult part. Is that ???

What has a website got to do with it it?
20 guys? Gumtree put in an ad.
    You're thinking,I'm earning.
    Don't create your own hurdles.
I employ sales people for their sales skills, a sales person knows their trade
    and can sell anything.
I have the services and products the sales staff bring in the business.
    Do not confuse the two.

The only example I have at the moment is http://mobilesimulator.info/?url=http://maharaja.christiankneller.com

(In fact looking at this site now, the call and email parts should be larger but as I'm on a mobile now and don't have access to a computer I can't change them.)

As you can see this is only 1 page at the moment but adding more pages is just more of the same.

If you're unsure about my work I could offer you half price rates for the first job to see if it's the kind of stuff you're looking for.

last 3 websites i built this week are
    Code:
    http://www.tropical-palms.com/
    http://www.ajsacademy.co.uk/
    http://www.ecodrycleaning.net/

Not one of them cost my clients over £100-200, all are built on Joomla or Drupal, and all have plugins for rendering on mobile devices, yet you say quality requires high rates?

maybe thats the flaw in my business plan underpricing myself lol

Actually oxonbeef, i know your an Exec Vip Status, yet i dont realise how there is a market
for "mobile websites" as most phones, pads, devices can render a website perfectly well.
I can see that they may have been a market back when wap sites was around, but how
in the world are you converting when smartphones dont need specificity rendered sites??

As you are such a guru in the field please fill me in, Thank you.

Also Most Phones run Android , Windows , Apple or Opera browsers - With NO need for mobile optimization - as all support W3C CSS2+ .... Are you digging a lost market??
