Hi everyone
I have been working online for quite some time, about 15 years and i have worked as a publisher for more than 12 years with affiliate marketing agencies all over the world.
Recently i have made a product, but i don't want to work with clickbank or jvzoo networks i want to make my own sales since i have my own affiliate network with publishers and i know people that want to advertise my product, so my problem is, payments methods that have a good reputation and allow tracking for affiliate marketing. Here is where i don't have any experience.
My product requires registration > email confirmation > sales page.
So, i can use Aweber to keep track of this variable without any problems, or cookie etc, but, paypal for example only allows one custom variable, called custom by the way. (that i know of)

Anyone knows how to implement this properly or recommend some other payment systems ?

Paypal allows item number, item name and custom. Within these 3 variables you should be able to include your data.

Also, custom could be a JSON string where you embed more info. For instance custom could be {"affiliate_id" : 123456, "verification" : 9876} and so on.

Hope this helps.

Try e-junkie. For a flat monthly fee you can use their shopping cart, you can accept PayPal payments and you can track the sales. This sounds exactly like the thing you're looking for.
