Looking for Pro Advice <3 ? (and giving my own experience)

Hello guys, i'm Peter from france, i ve created my french youtube channel early 2019 with my best friend (he isnt a BHW member). And i would like to share my own experience about using SEO & Youtube, and asks advice in same time if you got any, coz i'm really hard stuck at the moment. #qqsadface

Our channel is about gaming and our goal is to make fun & chill video about every game on earth (long way to go).. We are making fast & super dynamic "let's play" / "walkthrough" / Vlog etc.. with a chill talk on each video like radio stations. We always publish instantly a second part video 'like a b-side' with more nerd stuff like rating the game and going deep about it, really deep. (y baby i know you like it) So aim is to target every people on youtube with the main video and the second one is more for gamer/nerds like us. I think our videos are inovating at least in france because usually our trend video in france are 99.9% about fortnite and we are doing like retrogaming, new releases, old releases. 1 differents games every videos.

We are truely hard tryharding on it. Thanks to that, i ve learned to mastered Vegas pro 16 in few months. This is the most accomplish feeling i ve ever got doing this. I really feel like i could make a real movie or a tv show on netflix. I really love this side of being a "creator". and i think i will move to video making (for society or others like advertising/entertainment) if at some point i'm bored in life. (i saved enough money to do not work anymore for many years)

So at Start, we used to use social media panel (bot/Real advertising for $) so we reach 4k views and 1k sub super fast and youtube let us monetize after only 24h we ve asked for it.
But then the real problem happened. #Drama

So i ve tried different way of SEO. Like facebook advertising, not really good in my opinion except if you have TONS of money to spend in advertising.
I ve tried forum advertising (video game) but usually they dont like it so i stopped super fast to do it.
I ve joined french student facebook channel, steam forum, giveaways. everything but we cant get subscriber.

At some point, i doubted about myself (it's essential to reconsider yourself if you want to improve and fix yourself) so i decided to make a post on reddit asking to people if they could waste 10 min of their time to watch our channel and rate it and we ve got a solid 100% positive review on 15 peoples (even people who doesnt like video game and wasnt interested by that niche)

So i dunno...

Is that possible to start from scratch a youtube channel in 2019 without being help by famous friends or outsiders ?

I'm probably missing a good way to advertising so if you have any idea or anything i will drink your words.

Featuring are probably the best part but we dont know anything famous enough to accept to deal with us.

Since we reach youtube partner (monetize) our video are super easy to find in youtube research if you type the #keysearch so we are thinking with time and more videos it would be easier to get sub with time but i'm a bit pecimist about it. (we are making 4-5 videos / week)

I usually always thought it was easy to reach your goal as long you are super smart and sacrifice everything you got in your life to reach it. I was making 5-10k€ / month selling wow currency by myself (starting from scratch) for years. BUT with youtube i feel like even if i'm try harding and spending 120h / week doing my best. Nothing is changing it's like a wall. it's really frustrating !
I have this unfair feeling that i'm not harvesting the fruit of my hard work. #Youknowthisfeeling

So please, Share me your experience no matther if you are living the same thing as me or if you did it and are famous now. I like to analyse people. You can remain unknow and anonymous. I'm just curious and looking for help.

since i used Social Media Panel and others kinds of borderline stuff (even at low ladder), i rather remain unknown by safety if you dont mind.

You may not be getting subscribers because people in France don’t subscribe very often. If you’re ranking for competitive search terms on YouTube and getting lots of views from that; does it make any difference how many subs you have? What is the ctr on your videos, excluding views you have bought, etc? Have you bought any subscribers?

Your videos may be appropriate for reddit. PM me the channel and I'll give you some advice

Your youtube channel has been turned monetize ?

Yes, it is definitely possible. Use free versions of tubebuddy and vidIQ to find the right tags and then boost with a reliable SMM panel. It's very easy once you start following that method.

Don't ever give up because YouTube's algorithm is delayed when recommending videos. I have seen channels explode 9 years later so just upload a bunch of stuff with god-like SEO and boost with high quality engagement from good SMM panels and it becomes very easy. Good luck!

Have you tried subreddits of your games? Of course not that easy if the videos are in French but certainly not impossible. Have you thought about remaking some of your best videos in English?
What is your retention time?
