I am looking for a wordpress theme for my blog about money and finance. Since the blog is text concentrated (I will be be posting images rarely and features images). Most of the themes I came across had big featured images. And I don't like that. Premium themes are more preferable. I also want better advertisement spaces (ads inside the content would be great:rolleyes:) . I liked a studiopress theme(genesis or something, don't remember the name) and nexus theme.
    In Short,
    1.Less importance to featured images.
    2.More ad spaces.
    3.Ads inside the content.
    4.Premium theme are preferable.
5.I liked a studiopress theme and nexus theme.

    any Suggestions?

    Hi,

I would suggest you if you want to use paid theme / premium to buy it. If you are planing to make serious page. Most of theme have the callback function and can ruin your website.

Newspaper theme is good for a mutli-content niche, but it my case i have only money and finance. So I don't think it will suit my blog.

Lots of free themes from WP repo would fit your need... other features can be handled by plugins.

Genesis Framework is fantastic, you can customize the themes according to your needs. I would go with that.

I use this free theme for my niche websites, https://mythemeshop.com/themes/ribbon/

It is very easy to use and it has a ton of options. It's better than most paid themes that I have bought.
