Looking for a little help! (MNS related)

I've been working away on my first MNS for the last few months, and am starting to lose faith.

I'm still new to the whole MNS method, and was wondering if there was any way I could get the help of a veteran IM'er.

Basically, the niche i'm starting is very specific (it's a single product), and it should be really easy to rank for as there is little to no competition.

There is another site on page 1 (same niche), and i'm sure my site is of higher quality, has way more information, but for some reason I can't even break the top 100 on Google!

If there is anyone who is willing to help out a noob, and have a look at my site and give me some pointers, i'd be hugely grateful.

So what do you mean by you've been working away for the last few months? Building backlinks or just working on the site itself?
 
Adding content, and slowly building backlinks.

I've probably done 5 fiverr gigs in the last 2 and a half months for backlinks, nothing huge though. I've also done some manual blog posts, etc.

I've used some free backlink checking tools, and the last one I tried said my site only has 8 backlinks, I also checked the site i'm competing with and it told me they only had 1.

alright checked it out

competition is pretty bad. there's actually a site yourkeyword.n*t that has 550 backlinks and a decent site but it is not ranked in top10 either

your site has 44 backlinks indexed

oh and also the #1 and #2 ranked site on the chart, u might wonder how it's there over the 15y old authority domains...well I did a backlink check on it and it seems to be getting over 5000 backlinks with a 301redirect from similar domain names

you can go to h**ps://majesticseo.c*m and type your competitor to confirm those "_301_PermanentRedirects"

Buddy keep on building backlinks daily...and i will say don't go for fiverr they are useless. Do manual bookmarking, article submission that will surely help..

I so hate such generic comments on fiverr for it being one of the incomes sources for me. Next time, please be nice to fiverr and learn how to select the best gigs and not just random ones.
 
Sometimes a site just won't work, even if it seems like it should, there are so many variables. From the above posts I'm assuming your kw research was lacking - the best way to learn is to make many many new sites and read this forum. Maybe consider using a kw research service from here and start with an EMD.

You'll probably lose a little money at first, but once you get a hang of the process and start making real money, trust me it won't matter.

I forgot to mention that I have been slowly doing article submissions as well, ezinearticles, and free articles base.

So should I just let this one die and try with a new kw? I did buy this KW from a keyword service on BHW, they told me it was an easy to rank KW with no competition :(

Can anyone recommend me to a cheap, high quality keyword research service?

It's hard to say without seeing the site, but if I were you I'd make new sites anyway, as I said it's the best way to learn. Build like 3-5 sites, then build similar links to each site, then you'll see which sites start to do better and you get a feel for it. It may take more than just a few sites. And read the forum and some books like The Fatcat Blueprint while building them, you'll pick up valuable things all the time.

I can't recommend a kw research service, only used one once and that was ages ago. On a second thought I'm not sure if it'd even be good to use them, it'd probably be better to just learn to do it yourself. Idk, maybe use a few to learn what you're looking for in the beginning. Try to get kws with emds avaible, as it's so much easier to rank them at least for low competition niches.
