hi, guys

i am getting my feet wet in clickbank marketing. i have this wh/bh combo as follows:

  1. found a low comp niche with 20k/month searches for the kw
  2. i built a landing page using weebly. this page has the call to action button with the affiliate link. very simple landing page to get people to click. short copy of less than 500 words
  3. built a mini blog on same domain but different page to host content.
  4. wrote 4 unique articles each more than 700 wrds
  5. next step is to build backlinks to the site, rank for the kws and receive that juicy traffic

need a second opinion on a few things though:

the reason i have the blog is so that i can put on more content on there. I'm going to build backlinks to the site and i am writing a unique article for each kw i'm targetting. the blog is on the same domain but different page. the page is called "Blog", and the home page is the landing page.

so in these blog posts i will link back to the landing page via contextual links within the article itself. but i can't find the option to optimize seo for blog posts in weebly. how do i do that? anyone with experience?

i will be using only services on bhw that i've used before and gotten results with, but won't name them obviously. the reason i want to put more content on there is so that i don't get banned. i'm hoping the amount of content will be enough not to get banned and hopefully help with the rankings.

since this is a live case study, i will be updating regularly. thanks all

Definitely staying tuned. Good luck .

Definitely staying tuned. Good luck .

do you by any chance know how to optimize on-page seo for weebly blog posts? i know how to do it for the pages but i can't seem to figure out how to seo the blog posts. thanks

Wow this is really challenging study. Weebly has good number of authority in that case its bit easy to rank tho. Anyway im stay tune with your journey thread. Wish you all da best for future income. Probably im in mobile there might be spelling mistakes over there . Dont mind anything xD

Are you intended to rank a keyword 20,000 searches/mo with Weebly at Google?

Interested to follow this thread..... Good luck!

Here's what i've done so far:

- Got the landing page done with weebly's landing page feature. made it really simple with white background and a niche related picture. not happy with weebly's button, though, i need a bigger button.

- so the landing page is the home page and there's a link to another page which is the blog posts. done 2 posts so far targeting the 2 kw's each of those 600 words and unique. working on another article now and i plan to have 5 articles at least.

- the page has been indexed in google now. the landing page and both blog posts. since i will be adding to the articles over the next few days, i decided to build backlinks right away.

- i never do seo by myself, it has never been my strong point. i'm better at writing content and sales copy. so i've shopped around bhw to find a good provider.

- since it's a web2.0, i've decided to go with a high authority link provider who can get me rankings without too many links showing up on ahrefs. found a provider that makes sense for my situation, and pulled the trigger.
cost: $140

other details:

landing page is very simple with white background. the only links are: 1 cb link in the button, 1 in the niche image, 1 to go to the blog. i decided to have a blog so that weebly doesn't think i'm just out to promote cb stuff. again, i will be adding articles until the backlinking is done.

keywords targeted:
kw 1: 9000+ US 18000+ Global
kw 2: 5000+ US 18000+ Global
kw 3: 2000+ US 4000+ Global

so that's all there is to it. will wait a few days for provider to complete seo work and we'll see how this goes.

Nice study here, Subed and waiting

Hi, guys

sorry for the long delay. the service i outsourced for the links just finished the work. i'm seeing my kws climb out from nowhere to start ranking. so far no significant increase in traffic yet.

i decided to add link diversity by buying a different seo service in bhw to build links with generic anchor text ie: domain.weebly.com, and other LSI keywords as anchor text. this is to avoid triggering penguin.

i have been hit by penguin in the past but luckily it was just one page that triggered the algo, not the whole site. so i'm being careful this time.

so far i'm on page 5 for kw 2 and kw 3. i'm taking this nice and slow so as to avoid unwanted penalties.

so far i can't say whether i'm ranking because of the backlinks or because of weebly's authority as a web2.0. but the 1st round of backlinking has only 30 backlinks total.

any experts reading this feel free to chip in at any time.

my third kw just came up! it's now no 25 in google. i don't see any changes in traffic yet, but that's expected. will wait for the second service to get done and see if i can get on page one for the kw.

keywords targeted:
kw 1: 9000+ US 18000+ Global
kw 2: 5000+ US 18000+ Global
kw 3: 2000+ US 4000+ Global

the one that just appeared is kw 1. Kw 2 and 3 are still dancing in the 30s-40s of the serps. hoping to get position 1 by end of this month. planning to monetize using clickbank.

i've read that using less links with higher PR works better than lots of crappy links. this is the first time i've tried it, and i can see that in my particular situation it definitely works.

but then the niche that i chose is medium competition, so i can't say the same for high comp niches.

total spent:
High PR links: $140
Lower PR links with higher diversity: $7
content: self-written $0
website: weebly site $0

i have not added any more content since end of March and not planning to for the rest of the journey.

so far if you plan on ranking a weebly site with low-medium comp, i say go for it. as for whether or not it can be monetized effectively is yet to be seen. stay tuned!

Interested! I am a clickbank product former owner and i see someone driving creazy trafic from weebly. perhaps is you? niche numbers fit. Let me know if you are into a sub niche of weight loss.

Out of nowhere new afiliate hits hard with weebly 3k uv/day

i'm now on page 2 in google! tried out a tiered link-building service, and went from position 40+ to the low teens now. Will take a wait and see approach for this motnh.

not seeing any huge jumps in traffic yet, but it's still early to tell.

kw 1: 9000+ US 18000+ Global -> position 12
kw 2: 5000+ US 18000+ Global -> position 14
kw 3: 2000+ US 4000+ Global -> position 43

comments and suggestions are welcome. i'm still learning, but i'm a fast learner. feel free to critique. cheers!

I think I've been PENALIZED!

two of my keywords are nowhere to be found now in G. not sure what to do now. i have no experience getting out of a penalty. anyway here's the screen shot:
