[LIST] Web 2.0s

Hi,

I did a bit of house cleaning for these 2 lists of web 2.0s:

After manually going through each one of the websites on these lists over the last 3 days I managed to weed out all of the non-working (for various reasons) web 2.0s and salvage the ones that work. I'm sure there's more websites I could have included in this list but I ran out of patience and unique articles to submit to these websites, so I stop here.

Still, these 40 web 2.0s are free to join and fully working as of today, 10th of June 2021, so for anyone looking for free backlinks the sites below are a good place to start. I know that it's not much, but at least you are guaranteed 40 good backlinks (most of these websites have high DA) which for low competition keywords should be enough to rank until a big budgeted shark discovers your rankings and eats you alive.

Also, please note that some of these backlinks are nofollow, but a natural backlinking profile should include nofollow links anyway, so.... it's not all bad

Thanks, I found a couple I didn't have on my own list.
 
I've given up on most of them as they delete for fun.
So I mainly deal with top 5-7.
Particularly, like expired tumblrs.

But... I'll try your list. So thanks for it.

Well, new ones pop up every year so I'm not surprised :)

Yeah, they tend to do that indeed, but... what can you do? You have to work with the methods you have available to you.

By the way, which ones are the top 5-7 ones? I mean, blogger has to be one of them, but which are the others??

Yeah, I wouldn’t touch most of them not because they delete them but because it might not be the best in terms of ‘cleaningness’.

mystrikingly - don't really like it but they don't delete
wordpress (and home.blog)
tripod
fc2
and a few more but they are on your list.
good expired tumblrs are my favourite but hard to find.

PS: thank you for the list. I'll try your list.
What I do... create a web2, and save the articles I use on it, so if it gets deleted then I just re-use the articles once they get de-indexed by the search engines..

It's not my list, other people have put it together and I just manually ran through all of those links and weeded out the ones that don't work anymore. But thanks for the credit :)

Regarding the sites you mentioned... oops, I forgot to add home.blog to the list, thanks for the reminder! No idea what tripod and fc2 are but I'll check them after posting this reply.

EDIT: I just checked tripod.com and I noticed that it's paid. Am I missing something ??

Sorry, I know it's not your list but you checked them manually.
As for tripod, I still have 1 property there for free and it's live. I see now, if I try to sign up, it only gives me paid options. bye tripod.

Some of them are ver hard to index and I feel like some of the more obscure ones might hurt more than help even if it’s behind a tier. But that’s just my opinion.
