It's confirmed, that you create a link wheel using duplicate content, google will check out 1st article, then move on to next and next and kill them all. I tried this trick for the 3rd time, just to confirm it and yes you will be fucd.

Last time i was promoting a product review page of mine with 15 web 2.0 sites, all with spun articles. I spent so much time, bookmarkign, backlinking, indexing, pinging, and now google just ignored all of the links. Right now that page only has 3 backlinks.

in short quit using spun articles. Even if you see those links there for a while, it won't help you much in the near future.

Quit using linkwheels... they blow chuncks now. I use what I call a link push and it works tons better.

What is link push, I havent heard that mentioned before.

Well, it is like this... The spun articles are pulling out too much jibberish and not enough natural looking content, looking like a machine produced it instead of a human, which is the issue. You have to take the time to produce original content. Spinning is a dead tactic - has been for some time.

As for the link wheel method, it still works, you just have to modify it for fresh and REAL content, as the new ' duplicate content ' issues are targeting software generated content systems now more than ever.

It keeps coming back to one simple point. Google is not about just links anymore to rank.
It is all about the combination of keywords, keyword relevant content and keyword relevant links that pull the authority and rank juice. Google is all about ' information ', as that is their business.

IF you post a website and have all of the hottest new articles from the directories, targeted for your niche, post that information on your site and show link credit for the author, website and credit them with the original...as you are showing it to your readership in your market for CONTENT awareness, you are going to become an authority for promoting those articles as original posts in your own site archive.


The trick is the give the link and original site, as well as the author but to also ' give your opinions, comments, additions, etc. ' about the article in your voicing an agreement and disagreement with it.

It sounds tricky with giving out free backlinks in this manner to your competition but it will make you an authority over them instead of competitors against them.

Link wheels don't work in blackhat tactics as well due to them relating/cross-referencing your sites and pages together with the robot-generated content. That is what is busting your chops in this case.

Not a horseshoe and it wasn't made out of boredom. I came up with it to develop some of my sites and wrote the pdf initially to teach my wife.

It's a legit method to get your sites ranked well.

hey bro, the boredom thing was for the horseshoe method, not for you. Your pdf sounds promising. As far as the horse shoe is concerned, i came to know that it's pure bullshit, since some seo's ruined their clients websites over at dp.

Take advantage of it... it requires some work but is well worth the efforts.

That's correct... build it slowly and use only one out bound link per article.

the pdf is just the average linkwheel bashing <-> i got a new method bullshit.

imagine you have a christmas tree and the star on top is your site and the lights and stuff are the pages that link to you.

if you look at it from the top you have a linkwheel - if you look at it from the side well looks like a cone or what ever. if you take everthing of the tree and place it on the floor you can make all kinds of layouts but the networking idea is the same. i hope you get the idea.

Yeah, it isn't anything new. Just extending the reach on it.

The funny thing is that the link wheel process has been done for years and isn't new. The down side for most of the guys here is that it won't work for blackhat content, which is spam and spinner crap.

If you take the time to do the work properly, it still works fine.
