I'm highly considering signing up for linklicious. Anyone have any experience with that? I seem to hear a lot of good things.

I also have a question, If I built a pyramid that went social network -> social bookmarking -> forum profile, and I crawled the forum profiles then the social bookmarking and social network will also get crawled correct?

Yes if google finds forum profiles it will find the social bookmarks also. It would also help if you have at least 10-20 profiles pointing at each bookmark.

Great. I think I'm going to sign up now

I highly recommended linklicious.me - go with a basic account! It's essential for your link building strategy. :)

Just read the details on the basic account. It says they only crawl like 5% of the actual links you post. The Pro account is suppose to crawl the whole list.

Um.... It's kind worth it... mostly it's worth taking a look at the sites it uses then doing it yourself, 90% of them have a firefox button you can drag onto your browser and then you can do it all yourself pretty quickly if you fear automation as I do :D

Anyone "against" it? That is, it will call too much attention to your links too quickly - has anyone experienced that?

I'm sending you a huge box of Decaf coffee for you to drink for a while.

HUGE!

It's a solid service, I use it, my business partner uses it and we use it for our clients.

An added plus is that the owner is a good guy.

Well, *you're* the one following me around ;) Good thing I don't drink coffee

Actually, since I've been moving more into mainstream after many, many years in adult - almost everything is "different" than the way I've done it since the 90s. (And these days, banging adult sites with links is very likely to hurt - I've lost five front-page listings in the last two months alone. After losing an important #1, I spent a very careful month getting it back.)

So as I'm learning more and more about mainstream, I'm always looking for the other side, before either trying something or adding it to my long-range planning. Sorry if it comes off as frantic ;)

Just busting you a bit, please take no offense... Linklicious is a "kinder and gentler" service so you won't incur any penalties using them. In fact they will help you get your backlinks crawled which is important.

No offense taken - I was just kidding you as well ;)
And I really do appreciate the help - as well as your service

I have used Linklicious.me for a few months and have found it to be extremely effective in getting links indexed.

I've noticed quite a difference myself when submitting links from an xrumer blast and SB blasts.

How long before you guys see an effect, after submitting your profile links and SB blasts to linklicious?

I'm on my 5th day on my Pro account, and I'm not seeing anything significant yet. This is not counting the 2 weeks I've been using the Free account, which I understand doesn't lead to a 100% crawl rate.

I've also pinged the linklicious links separately.

I had a pro subscription for 3 months and sadly did not see any big increase in the indexation rate of my forum profiles. I did several tests between putting profiles from the same forums in to linklicious vs letting them index naturally and didnt see any big difference at all.

I cancelled my pro as I couldn't justify the cost.

I take it that the rankings for your keywords didn't improve? I don't really care about indexing if crawling is all it takes to get SERP improvements...
