Linkbuilder and Ping

I am relatively new to BHW and has been following the forum for some months but I am computer illiterate. While I been learning some great terms and concepts, I am unable to turn these things into money. There are some terms here I dont have a clue what they mean like scrapebox, indexing and etc.

I have spent a ton of money over 3K on 2 websites I have currently. I am so mad with the designers that I dont understand how a website cannot produce sales at all. I have to literally call ppl and ask them to purchase. Site looks nice that's it....
Since I've been looking around here I see ppl have a bunch of things and getting money. People write, articles....i went to college for that....but my sites do not generate $1 per day.....why?????

I need to have a linkbuilder. I need my website back linked and ping. I need to see references of work, and profitabilty.

I need references of work done...I spend too much on pretty websites that are not attracting traffic or selling any thing. My loft is full of products and I am just frustrated....
