hey, if i've got a premium domain, never been monetized so doesn't fulfill the $500 mark u require.. but gets alot of social traffic and search traffic.. would be a good news medium site that you could make good money from, would you be able to see it..?

If you mean $350k+ to sell your site, then you need to have a minimum of about $28,000+ profit per month.
That's what buyers are looking at if you want them to fetch over $350k for your site.
The price point is typically 12x-16x the monthly profit.
However, it really does depend on several factors, which I'm sure is what meathead looks at.

If a website getting $1k2 per month from Google Adsense, getting 80k unique visitor per month, traffic source 83% from search engine ( Google ), 9% from direct traffic and the rest is reference.
How much it should be sell for ? and what is your percent !

the domain is developed.. about 12 years old.. kinda like a news site.. hits about 50k unique visits daily just never been monetized..

I could pretty much sell anything if I wanted to, but it's simply not worth my time if I don't think I can sell it for at least 10k - I get over 10 pms/emails a day from various places with sites to sell and I can't do them all
