So if someone believes that they have superpowers and are able to jump off the worlds tallest buiding and survive without any injuries, they should do it? Instead of paying attention to all the science that debunks what their "gut" is telling them.
That's up to you to believe. Like I said, if you believe its real, then its real.
What is real? Real is how your mind interprets things. So real for you, is not real for me. It's hard to make sense, but the more you dig into this, the more you'll understand.
A Simple example: 2 people can walk down the same street together, at the exact same time, and looking at the exact same women. One person will think that women is ugly, and the other think she's beautiful. What is real for that women? Is she ugly, or beautiful? There is 2 real concepts in play, both person interprets the 'Real' look of the woman differently. Yes you'll be saying but looks dont count, but this is a very simple concept to understand.
Have you ever explained to someone that was so thick, you know in your heart it was real, but they just dont believe you? That is another kind of real concepts. Then did you follow up and found out you were right or wrong? How did it feel to know you were wrong when you definitely know that you were right? How crazy is the concept of 'real'.
With regards to the superhero - if the person believed that they could, then the question was how did they come up with the idea? Did they fall off a house and survive? Did they fall off a two story house and survive? Did they fall off a tree and survive? Did they fall off a cliff and survive? You have to look into the history and see how that person came up with the concept that they have superpowers and are able to jump off the worlds tallest building and survive without injuries. You dont get a 'gut' feeling without some real concepts to back you up.
If you look into the history of science, you have to wonder...who is the biggest player that sponsors the Scientist? You answer this question, and you'll see that science, not all of science is 'real'. Someone can tell a Scientist that you want results A, and the Scientist will go out and do all the experiments and only looking for the A results to back up their findings. Why so corrupted? Because if they dont, then who's going to pay them their salary?
You can believe me or not, its up to you what's real and what's not. The real take home point is that your thinking of real needs to be backed up with proof and examples. Don't go with what the media says, or what you see on tv, or what you got taught in school, or what people around you tell you. You always follow the comments and keep digging and find out what's real.
Good luck to you.
