Hi Guys!

Don't really know where to put this topic so i've decided it here.
Mods please move or delete if inappropriate.

Anyway, simple but crucial part of a website. Where or how do you guys get your privacy policy, terms and condition, dmca, etc. etc...?

Many Thanks in Advance.

Cheers!

I'd normally just do a search for whatever it was I needed followed by template or creator, something like that.

So for example:
Privacy Policy template
Privacy Policy Creator

Something like the above should work to find something like what you need.

There are templates online that you can go through and change some tags to details relevant to your setup and there are systems online where you enter your data through a process of Q&As and it will spit out a policy for you to use. I just go through whichever one looks good at the time.

Mate that's really helpful. I was just thinking if it needs to be some sort of a real thing (although getting a lawyer to write legal things would really cost) BUT some alternative that is close to the real thing. But your suggestion is really helpful, i'll give that a shot also. Thanks mate, really helpful.

Any other suggestion out there guys? :)

No worries, I've always used these online templates and creators and they cover most of the things you will likely want from one. If you have a big enough project that you need them to be 100% airtight you would be better off with consulting a professional but for most projects these online ones are fine.

The templates are great to just get something up in no time but the creators / generators will give a more specific one to your website, they just take a little longer to fill out.
