Lead Generation for Local Businesses

So I was thinking of trying to do some local lead gen. I pretty much know the whole process but what things I could try and do to make it more successful?

• Citations?
• High Performance Backlinks?
• Google+ Listing?
• Facebook Page?

This is all I can think off including creating a landing page which is optimized for specific keywords.
I won't be doing it alone since I already have a company which I plan on hiring .

But what do you guys think?
