Latest Google Algo Update?

Has anyone been affected by G's latest algo update? If so, what type of sites were they?

Yes mine. Adult sites. Can anyone tell how to recover?

I have health niche site but not affected yet.

Why do you assume it was an update related to on-page?

One of my amazon affiliate sites died middle of Jan, no idea why, but it is coming back to life with this update. Another 2 of my sites seem to be doing quite well from it too or at least the update a week or so ago (different or same?). One is Amazon affiliate, the other purely information, no adverts, which was ramping up nicely when it went to zero last August.

I could not figure out why these sites had been slapped (no message in GWC) and assumed they had been caught in the cross fire and to wait it out. Seems to have worked.

Whats funny about this update, i have 2 websites different niches 1 selling a service 1 affiliate that died in april/may 2017.. so after huge increase in keywords and traffic they suddenly droped for almost every keyword within a month or 2 i was left with few click per day and no good kws to show on google at all.. and i wasnt doing any link building just adding content, so after that i forgot on them i didnt touch these sites since then and now recently just noticed they are coming back like i started them yesterday ... gaining many new keywords and positions just go up. Google is only playing..i am confused and not sure what to do anymore. I abandoned 2 nice projects because i thought they are dead and started investing money in new things.. now after 1y these old sites are recovering

I was doing BH, it's all banged up. Indexing rate is down to 10%
Hardly anything is flashing on the first page

I have a site that was over optimised with keywords and it got hit, I am now in the process of improving the content and adding more content as well.
