Landing Page - Linking Advice

Hello Everyone,

I have started working on the new team's landing page.
While auditing their page I have found that they have linked the same landing page in their content.

For example, suppose we have a landing page: https://www.blackhatworld.com
and in it's content there is an anchor text like <a href="https://www.blackhatworld.com"> Black Hat Seo </a>

So is it a good practice?

Practically I don't think this should be done because linking same landing page within the landing page
will confuse crawler bot.

According to me, anchor text should be always the keyword for which we want to rank for.
