Hello
Newbie here. I've read that technically there is no limit imposed by IG on story viewing.
Is that true?
Anyone has any experience with this on a new account in 2020?
When is an account considered to be "no longer new"? what's the time period?
And finally regarding KrystalGrowth tool: it seems to have good opinions. anyone has experience with it?

Mass story viewing was working months ago. When there were no limitations i managed to grow multiple accounts very quickly. Unfortunately this method has been patched and works only with verified accounts nowaday. You better stay away from it if you want to keep your account

So you're saying there are limitations now? The same with mass poll voting right?

Yes, you can't view anymore millions of stories everyday. You can still watch them in the order of thousands/day but the followback rate is just so low that it's not worth the risk. Plus $30/month for unlimited accounts? Seems a bit strange to me

But yeah, it's $10 for the basic package, you could give it a try with some throwaway accounts and just see how it works

It's annoying if I'm honest. Like I get it that they are trying to improve the platform and on paper these guidelines are good, but this leads to a situation where anyone starting a new account is no match against accounts with 100K+ followers who got there using these particular methods.

Yeah you know what, I might give it a go. My assumption is that any new account is a throwaway account and if I have to grind for 6 months to organically get to 2K followers and maybe possibly hopefully reach Explore, then I don't think it's worth a bother. Might as well focus on establishing a proper SEO on a blog, try Pinterest, etc. Make sense?

Wrong, they've patched it and it doesn't work anymore with unlimited views. Although the limit is pretty high.

2-3 months if you are impatient, 6 months if you want to be safe, 1year if you want properly aged.

I also think storyviewing has been limited by now, except for verified accounts, but they have less limits in general. Combined with the fact that people dont just follow anyone that views their story, its not worth it imo.
 
So I answered my own question I guess:
First off on KrystalGrowth: they had no trial at least I couldn't find one. There was a pop-up with 50% off all plans coupon. Great, I can spend 6 $ to have some fun. Coupon wasn't working. I mean it's not criminal, but still annoying so I skipped it.

I tried some other tool for mass voting and viewing. It had a setting for parsing of up to 400K stories per day. I launched it, it was working for like half an hour. I selected poll voting and sliders. Didn't do quiz answering or viewing as it wasn't recommended even by them :D.

During that time the tool interacted with maybe 60-70 events. The average was predicted at 3.7 per day and then after few minutes it went down to 1.9K per day.

I didn't get my account blocked or anything, but this is just pathetic. And this evening the DMs started coming in.

Apparently I was interested in ordering some hot coffee daily deliveries from the USA (i'm in Europe), I wanted to try out Lyft, I was interested in some weird money making scheme that even I wasn't able to figure out + few other things that I couldn't understand as it was in German and I couldn't be bothered to translate. It is possible I got 1 or 2 follows from that.

So yeah, just sharing my experience with y'all. If I was to rate my experience I would give it a hell to da naw / 10 :D

Yeah sorry I kinda see how this might have sounded. Didn't intend for it to come across like this.
As stated above: I haven't tried this particular tool as the lack of trial and disingenuous discount has put me off. I tried another tool, the mechanic of it did work, but the whole premise of mass story voting is pointless in my opinion and I won't be trying it further, even on a "perishable" account. Waste of electricity and nuisance of deleting unwanted DMs.
