keyword never rank?

Hey guys,

i was wondering why my keyword didnt rank at all, my position is >100.
Even after having backlinks 500+ it still did not rank.

can anyone help to explain?

Need time. Wait. I also had this. My keyword is stuck for 2 months in the same position. Then it switched to 1 page of 5 positions.
 
What about your keyword competition?
How frequently you are updating your pages with fresh content?
It doesn't matter you have 500 links or more than that. It should come from niche relevant quality sites.

You need to analyze (on page and off page) your site and your competitors strategies.
Then only you can find out what could be the problem.

competition is not that high tho. 1.8k monthly searches.
new content may one week around 2 articles?

hmm any advice? i would appreciate it :)

With these statistics you should see some improvement in SERP. Check your content quality. Somehow you are missing the trick.

Not listed in the top 5 ranking means acceptable, but not even featuring in top 100 means you should take some action immediately.

Even if you have knowledge it will not be easy to findout your mistakes by yourself.Better to do site audit with some experts, you can hire some one from BHW itself.
 
you need to verify the keyword difficulty & keyword competition, the ranking also depends on the quality of content, moreover, you need to verify the quality of backlinks, because the quality of backlinks is much more important than quantity...
 
Is all 500+ links have a good quality or total crap ?

exactly! thats what i thought also. its been up for almost 4 weeks plus, and the fact that it has only 1.8k searches and its hard to rank just raise a question mark.

Your site is not relevant to those queries. Try to build content and make it relevant to the stuff you want to rank.

3 months ? bought some cheap links. now I'm trying to remove it. may take awhile to remove those links i guess.

well i don't know how bad your links is. if it's not that bad like spammy link, or link from banned side. i think it better you focus on adding more quality link. rather the n try to remove it. it will take a lot of time. to remove it all

there are over 200 SEO factors
I would say 10 main ones at least
