Have any of you guys ever tried to rank a "Double dash" EMD?

keyword--keyword.com ?

I am working on a campaign for a customer and there are ZERO EMD options...so I was thinking of launching a landing page like this and trying it out. As part of our campaigns, we typically launch a landing page, build links, then 301 redirect them.

It would suck bigtime as an actual domain. Just curious if anyone has tried to rank one for redirecting.

I've seen sites rank first position with a domain like that.

Domain can't really play much of a role in ranking as much as keyword anchor text does. So try either one and you'll be surprised how easily it ranks.

never tried with double dash .whatever you do keep us updated

One dash was normal but still one dash also has difficulty getting ranked I guess, Good luck for --
