I've Noticed many sites losing traffic even after doing proper keyword SEO. It's clear that both keyword and topic SEO don't work like they did a few years ago- but topic- based content still gives much better results.

When you cover a full topic instead of targeting just one keyword, your content ranks better and stays more stable after updates. Google now cares more about intent and how helpful your content is.

So yeah, Keyword SEO alone isn't enough anymore. Topic- Focused content is the way to go now. Anyone else seeing the same thing?

True, Just adding keywords doesn't do much anymore, it's all about how useful the content is.

Is it easy for you to find good writers adapted to this new need ?

Same here, I used to focus on single keywords, but the results never lasted. Once I started covering full topics in depth, my pages began ranking higher and stayed there even after updates.

True now it's important to focus on the complete topic instead of a single keyword, by doing this you can rank for more than 1 keyword.

Exactly, covering full topics gives google more context and keeps the content strong even after updates.
Absolutely agree that topic depth and intent coverage are outperforming single-keyword targeting now. Building content clusters around main themes helps boost relevance, authority, and long-term stability through updates. Google’s clearly rewarding sites that provide complete answers and user-focused value over pure keyword density.
That's true! Google now prefers content that fully covers topic and helps users.

I still use keywords but plan content around main topics - that balance works best for me.

What you’re describing is exactly what a lot of SEOs have been noticing over the last couple of years. Google’s algorithm has moved away from keyword matching and toward intent understanding and topical authority. Covering a topic in depth answering all the related questions, subtopics, and search intents builds stronger semantic signals and shows Google that your site is a real authority in that space.

Topic focused has always been the way since you sound more natural that way than when you're keyword focused. But apparently, from the chart it seems both keyword focused and topic focused are down this year.

I completely agree. I've been witnessing the same thing. Instead of going after single keywords, I would suggest that you change your strategy to establishing topic clusters. Write a lot of articles about a topic that all link to each other in a way that makes sense. This not only makes you more of an authority on the subject, but it also helps your rankings stay strong when Google changes things.

I've shifted completely to topic-first content now. Single keyword articles just don't perform like they used to post helpful content update.

I noticed that too. Full topic posts work better now than just keyword ones. Google seems to care more about helpful content.

When I stopped focusing on single keywords and wrote more complete posts, my traffic became more stable. Google seems to reward content that fully covers a topic.

Yes, absolutely! Many websites have seen the same pattern where keyword-heavy content is dropping in performance. Google's algorithms now reward pages that cover an entire topic and provide real value to users. Focusing on intent, context, and helpfulness gives content more stability during updates. Topic-based SEO is definitely outperforming old keyword-only strategies.

Keyword SEO still has a role, but topic-first planning gives a clearer long-term strategy.

I see the same, full topic guides stay steady in updates while keyword-only posts drop fast.

Start out with topic, build a keyword map around customer intent. Divide into category subsections, makes long-form content creation easy.
