most "KW Tools" do everything except for proper competition analysis. I am doubtful placing my trust in them coz I've seen two separate conclusions on one exact keyword from diff softwares which is why I have reverted to Market Samurai to check top 10 results in Google
I check on page SEO; Header, Title, Desc and if there are any EMD's. Sometimes a site has all which means it's targeting the keyword. Most of the times, out of the 10 results maybe 2 would be optimizing properly for that page and then the rest are maybe fulfilling one or two metrics. So in that case if they are big giants like "walmart" "amazon" "bestbuy", is it possible to beat them for that keyword since they're not optimizing for it?
How is it that bestbuy would show PR0? is it because the PR shown is of the current page e.g bestbuy.com/laptops and not bestbuy.com?
Should I be only looking at the links for that specific page or links pointing to the the entire domain? For example www.bestbuy.com (500,000 backlinks), www.bestbuy.com/laptops(50 backlinks). If I am trying to outrank bestbuy for the /laptop page (considering it does not have proper on page SEO for the keyword) is it possible? judging on the lower amount of backlinks?
What is a good tool you recommend to check out the complete backlink profile? and when doing so what factors should I be looking for.
I have not yet seen a proper guide anywhere online that discusses keyword competition in detail, if anyone can point me in the right direction, any website or a youtube video that can help with the concept I will really be thankful!
Thank you in advance and all replies will be greatly appreciated!
Regards,
Joe
