Does anyone have recommendations for software or tools to stay organized when working with large keyword sets? I am building an ecommerce site with a few hundred pages. I began building an excel spreadsheet to visually map out the site navigation, with fields for primary and alternate keywords for each page, title tags, H1, H2, H3, etc. With spyfu, keywordspy, and google keyword tool, I assembled a list of five thousand possible keywords for this site. Some are going to be used on-page and some will be used in PPC campaigns, but I am looking for some type of tool that help automate the grouping and organization of these keywords, not only for the initial site building, but for PPC efforts, and also for building the product flat files to populate the site. If I do this manually, say by using MS excel, then I have multiple duplicate data sets which makes it very hard to make changes later. For example, if I manually lay out a site plan with keywords, then I need to re-organize and group those keywords (and add to them) when I build out the PPC campaigns. Then I need send those keywords to the people writing the product descriptions, and when I find new words down the road, its going to be complicated to keep track of what is used where. I looked at wordstream, which takes large keyword sets and justs groups them if they share a common word, but that?s all it does. What tools / methods are you using?
