Kali Linux with whoami or Linux tails?

Kali is very unstable. From security distros I used to like Backbox but they stopped updating it, idk if it died or what.

What exactly are you trying to achieve ?These distros have specific use cases. Use something like Ubuntu or Linux mint for everyday use.Hey, what do you guys use? Kali Linux with whoami and proxychains? Or Linux tails?

It's official, Ubuntu killed Debian, now people talk about Ubuntu flavours rather than Debian flavours *cries*
I like Debian stable a lot, but had to modernize a bit so it's Manjaro for me now (fun how you recommend Debian/Arch too). Feelin' very edgy with the whole rolling release thing, my computer didn't explode so far.

90% of malware is written for Windows, so going with anything else than windows will enhance your security against phishing attacks greatly. As others said in this thread use Ubuntu, Debian or Arch as your daily driver. Ubuntu will have the smallest learning curve and Archlinux the greatest.
The main purpose of kalilinux is not to make you more secure, but to provide you with offensive tooling for penetration testing and hacking.
As for enhancing Opsec, proxychains and whoami-project seem good. But they won't help against phishing attacks.
The best way to protect yourself against phishing attacks, is to learn about them and increase your awareness.

What are you planning on doing with it?
I have Tails, but as another member said, it's not meant to be a daily driver. I'm sure you're aware of this, but the operating system wipes everything that isn't the operating system after you shut it down. It does have persistent storage, but this is more meant for wi-fi passwords, bookmarks, and maybe some non-personal files.
