Hey guys, My name?s Tony and after lurking through the forums for about a month, i've decided to finally make a post and introduce myself. The community have been great so far and I am currently earning a steady amount of $30 per month through Amazon to eBay arbitrage - a method I learnt on here. I believe this is just the beginning and even though I only have 150 items listed on eBay and am just beginning to get regular sales, I don't think the dropshipping business model is a long term revenue solution as a lot can go wrong from what i?ve seen and experienced so far. I?ve also tried the Shopify and Facebook method but got my store shut down by Shopify?s risk team after I set up my store and everything. They?ve also banned every store I?ve tried to put up after that first one as well, so I don?t think that?s going anywhere right now. Here's a bit about myself and why I joined BHW - I'm 19 years old and up till a month ago, I was studying IT at University.. But, I've taken a leave of absence to focus on finding a way to begin earning regular income to support my mum and sisters. My parents are currently going through a divorce because my father had an affair and was a generally abusive man. He has cut off my mum financially while he earns approximately an income in the 6 figures per year, but appears to earn ALOT less through a really complex system of corporations and trusts ( I really have no idea what he?s got going on, haha ).. So, he's making things really hard for my mum since my 4 siblings and I all live with her. Anyway, he?s currently throwing our family savings away on living like a king and buying unnecessary things for himself and the woman he had an affair with. This really frustrates my mum as she provides for us from her own personal savings she had personally collected over the years and is finding it hard to manage as we live in a fairly expensive suburb and pay a lot in bills every month. Since he always was the working parent, we rarely saw him and my mum took care of us so she never got the opportunity to work or gain working experience. This is primarily why I took a break off Uni and begin looking for ways to earn money. My mum has devoted her life so far to us and I didn't want her to start working multiple jobs with no prior experience to support us. I'm the oldest, so I feel like I have a responsibility to contribute. At 19 and in my second year of Uni, there aren?t many job opportunities that would provide enough to provide for 6 people and pay the bills. I?ve always been tech-savvy and have always spent most of my time online, which is why I went looking online for business opportunities. I eventually found BHW and the community really appealed to me. **(I just want to note that I don't mean to give the impression that I want to make people feel sorry for me, to get special attention or anything of the sort. I just want to show that there are people on here that benefit from the methods that are posted. I personally am extremely thankful that I found this community and i'd like everyone to know how much I appreciate their efforts on constructing those guides and sharing those free resources - they really do help.)** I have a few questions that have got me really stumped right now - If anyone could give their opinions, it?d be really appreciated. 1. There?s a whole heap of internet marketing jargon on here which makes it hard to follow some guides, does anyone know where I can get started learning the common technical components of IM? 2. With all the information and methods posted on here, I?m a bit overwhelmed and I have no idea where to start. So, if anyone could give me their opinion as to where I should start focusing my efforts and how I can prioritise all these methods to try. 3. Are there any resources I should go over that might help me get started? I?m sorry for the long post, I didn?t know how else to condense it all aha Again, I appreciate everyone?s efforts and I really look forward to learning more, getting to know everyone, and giving back to the community in any way I can Thanks everyone and LONG LIVE BHW!
