Hey guys,
I figured it was time to start a journey thread to keep track of my success and keep myself to my goals. My main goal is to reach a steady $300/day using Youtube + CPA mainly.
Background
So I joined BHW about 2 years ago with very little knowledge about online marketing. Since then, I've tried numerous things such as dropshipping, amazon affiliate niche sites & CPA.
After failing, again and again, I found my success with CPA. I remember posting some links on forums and other websites in my chosen niche, hoping someone would download an app from my OGAds locker. It was a short burst of excitement (thinking: THIS is it! This is what's gonna make me rich!), and I forgot all about it for 3 months.....
Then one day, I received an email from OGAds about some weekend event they had, and I remembered about posting those links, so I logged into my account and BOOM! I saw I had earned 30$. I WAS IN COMPLETE EUPHORIA. I FINALLY MADE SOME MONEY ONLINE!!!
I'll cherish that feeling of happiness forever
Seeing I made 30$ in 3 months (I know it's nothing) by doing absolutely NOTHING motivated me to see if I could earn just 20$ more to cash out. (OGAds has a minimum $50 payment limit).
This was when I started researching as much as I could about CPA & CPI. At the time I only had about 200$ in my bank account, and so it was risky for me when I had to spend money on websites and hosting and ranking videos etc.
Anyways, those days are far behind me. That was at the beginning of 2017. Throughout that year I kept working at CPI and managed to get to a steady 20$/day with very little effort. Because of school/exams/me being lazy it never really got past that point. However, I learned a lot about ranking videos on Youtube and web development during that time.
The Present Day
So about a week ago, it all changed again:
Using MicroWorkers to rank on Youtube, I decided to try it myself on some old videos of mine. It worked very well, and it gave me the motivation to try rank a new video in a new niche.
Basically, I did some keyword research, bought a CPA Proof video, uploaded it to YT, bought views/likes/comments and this was the result:
That's right! $700 in 1 day!
As you can imagine, I was very happy! Going from $20 per day to $700 is a big step up.
But unfortunately, the dream didn't last long
This is what happened:
Now I'm not complaining, $200 is still a very nice amount to earn passively every day, but I want more. Therefore I'm setting my goal at $300/day.
My theory on my decrease in clicks/money is that Day 1 was a Saturday, so naturally more people are going to watch Youtube videos / spend time online. During the week people are busier with work/school. (that's my excuse at least)
Now let's see if I'm correct or if I need to step up my game. Either way, I'm going to continue working hard keeping this video ranked and venturing into more niches I am also planning on trying some traffic sources other than YouTube, but I will keep you updated on that.
