Hi!

Inspired by @vinku and @sDem (Thank you guys for sharing your knowledge and experiences here) I have decided to start my first journey with a small goal: 10 USD / day.

I think this thread will help me move forward with the project and I have identified a niche that I think could be exploited so... I will try to do something about it!

My initial planning is to create the base app in a month, while I pay someone to create me all the backend services that I am going to need.

So my expected expenses will be:

Webservices creation: 120 USD
Gplay account : 25 USD
Translation services: 50 USD

My aim here will be to focus on tier 1 countries, but once everything is coded, I will translate it to at least the 10 most spoken languages in the world, making it friendly to European tier 2 countries.

I am planning on monetizing using Admob and maybe integration other networks but all through the mediation apk from Admob (I don't know about this, as I have never done it before but I suppose it would increase the cpm of my ads) and using banners, interstitials and rewarded videos. Would you recommend here using another ad provider here? I know Admob may be not the most paying one, but it is one of the pay that pay per impressions, right?

What app do you want to create? Game or something else?

10$/day is achievable as an android app developer. Good Luck for your journey.
are you in a whitehat niche?

Good luck man!!

I just want to know one thing, as I'm a developer to. If you are coding the app, why would you pay for the apis? It's about time pr knowledge?!

And why you are going to the native atrategy if you can use strategies using hybrid solutions, like ionic, etc?

Thanks! The thing here is that I am paying for a custom need I have that will be working in the backend. It's not about pr, but has something to do with some technologies I am not used to.

Why would I use cordova-based technologies when I just want to publish in Android based markets? I have created several hybrid apps and I am not happy with the limitations they have, as you will always be one step behind when new features or updates come.

If it is only android based, then I think you're right! It's always a better option to go for native. The only limitation is time when you go for native and want to have both ios and android apps :D

I wish you luck and success man! Cheers ;)
